An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly team at Rhos Cottage Dental Practice.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic individual with excellent people skills, processing ability, organisational and business development skills.
We are a mixed NHS and Private practice, looking to recruit a Dental Practice Manager to lead our team and further develop our practice. We offer a comprehensive range of services from general dental services to more complex treatments
The successful candidate should be forward thinking and comfortable using their own initiative. More importantly, the individual should be approachable, friendly, empathetic and capable of leading our staff and improving our patient experience.
About the Practice
We are an established family practice of 40 yrs providing high quality general dental care in both a family orientated and relaxed atmosphere, we are committed to continuing dental education and keeping up to date with changes in modern dentistry, as well as carrying out routine general dental care for all the family we also provide many other aspects of dentistry including Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics, Minor Oral Surgery and most recently Invisalign which is orthodontics with invisible braces for adults and older teenagers
Practice Manager Role, skills and experience and requirements
• To work as part of our amazing dental team,
• To run the day to day running of the practice,
• be able to manage the team and help with training nurses
• work on reception when help is needed
• To adhere to both practice policy and guidelines set by the General Dental Council
• To ensure the highest quality of patient care is achieved at all times
• Have good interpersonal skills to liaise with staff and patients.
• Confidence leading a team.
• Understanding how to generate income and control costs.
• Previous dental experience is desirable but we also welcome applications from successful managers from other professions, or Dental Nurses who wish to progress.
• You will be supported by a Regional Manager, it is important you are able to work well with them
• IT and excel knowledge is desirable
• Be a manager who can enable your team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
• To be able to build excellent relationships with your team and patients

Duties
• General Day to day running, rotas, payroll, recruitment, appraisals
• Reporting - SOE, finance reports as per accountant’s instructions
• Staff development and training

• Adaptive to modern techniques and software
• Hard working and motivated
• Keep all policies / procedures up to date
• Keep the team happy and motivated
Experience
• Management:- Essential ( would consider a qualified Nurse with over 5 years experience)
• Dental Practice Management:- Preferred
• Knowledge of SOE / software of excellence:- Preferred

Competitive, dependent on experience and assessed on an individual basis.
