I, Sue Irvine MCFHP MAFHP, am a qualified and registered member of the SMAE and registered with The British Association of Foot Health Professionals. With 14 years of health and social care experience, from dementia to neurodiverse, an enhanced DBS checked and being fully insured. There are many reasons we may struggle to undertake our own footcare. Maybe mobility is an issue, with reaching the feet causing difficulties. As we age, our toenails may become thickened, which can be uncomfortable in footwear and also tricky to trim down. Calluses and corns caused by sports or footwear may need removing or verrucas become troublesome. Diabetic foot care is an essential action in preventative care. There are numerous reasons from a wide range of age groups, occupations, hobbies, and health conditions, which mean you may need support in maintaining good foot health, or maybe you just want your feet looking healthy and feeling great.
