Due to a power cut in Hawarden the surgery currently has no power and are unable to answer the phone. When calling you will be given a message to call one of the branch sites. If you already have an appointment we will contact you. You can still email us with any queries or prescription requests

We are now able to offer Covid vaccinations to Patients over 60 years of age. Please book via My Health online if possible.
Please do not phone the practice to book your appointment unless we have asked you to do so. We will call you.

We would also like to thank the patients who attended our Vaccination Clinic on Saturday, we managed to vaccinate over 300 patients and had 17 DNA’d appointments

If you want to register for My Health online. Please email enquiries.w91015@wales.nhs.uk include your name, dob, address, mobile phone number and include photo ID (as an attachment if possible). Please do not request registration for other adult members of your family, they need to ask themselves. You can request registration for your children but please note this will be cancelled when they reach the age of 16 and they will need to re-register

Please do not call the surgery as phones are already extremely busy. We have managed to obtain extra COVID-19 vaccinations and have available appointments for Saturday 20th March at Clwyd House, Buckley. These appointments are for patients in Priority group 6 (patients aged 18 to 65 with underlying health conditions). Please do not call the surgery to book an appointment, we will call you. These appointments are also available to book via My Health online

If you’re an adult with a higher body weight (BMI of 40 or higher), you are at higher risk of COVID-19 disease and are advised to have a COVID-19 vaccination as part of eligibility group 6.

You will be invited for your vaccination.

With more people now being invited for COVID-19 vaccination, we know that some will have questions, especially around group 6 eligibility – people aged 16 years to 64 years with underlying health conditions who are at higher risk of serious illness.

Group 6 includes people with severe asthma who regularly use oral corticosteroids or have previously required hospital admission. People with mild or moderate asthma are not at increased risk and are not recommended for vaccination by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).

We have now had authorisation from the Health Board to offer COVID vaccinations to patients aged over 65 and patients who are in the shielding list. We will be calling these patients over the next few days to book appointments or they can be booked via My Health online. If you do not fit this criteria please do not book an appointment as it will be automatically cancelled
