🥳 25 years ago today I launched my private practice, Alexandra Sewell Psychotherapy.
What a wonderful journey it has been so far, allowing me to meet and work with hundreds of the most amazing individuals! What a great opportunity this presents to extend a heart felt and deep ‘thank you’ to each and every one of my clients!

Aknowledge intrusive thoughts, no matter how emotive or frightening, then do nothing about them, not a thing. The millisecond you enter conversation or debate with those thoughts you empower them exponentially.

I would change one thing … How anxiety WANTS you to see the problem…. It’s not a done deal. We have a choice as to how to respond to anxiety, thankfully 😅

March 1st 2026 marks my 25th year in private practice, specialising in working with anxiety, panic, OCD and PTSD.

My one aim is to get more people understanding how to challenge anxiety and harness the resources of their own minds to thrive in life unencumbered by the dreaded spiral of overthinking and panic.

March 1st 2025 marks my 24th year of private practice!
I have met hundreds of inspiring individuals over the years, all committed to making permanent psychological change. I have enjoyed every session with each of my clients, thank you all so much!
Over the last 12 months, I have continued to update my professional development and am now a certified ADHD practitioner.

As ever, I have dedicated myself to improving my area of career-long interest and expertise; all forms of anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, PTSD and other neuroses.

Working with children and adults, I help with all types and degrees of emotional and psychological difficulties.
