We often buy shoes that represent our personalities.

Audiology department at Broughton specavers absolutely fantastic service in particular a gentleman called Josh.
He was patient, kind and answered any questions informatively, I felt he went above and beyond with my service user today in an empathetic and professional manner.
As a carer I can feel disheartened by a world driven by consumerism, where people and items are treated as disposable but today I saw a glimmer of true humanity and care, a person who genuinely seemed to enjoy his job, giving excellent service.

The illness going around at the moment could be a new strain of Covid or is more than likely an Adenovirus. That doesn’t mean it’s something you want very young children, older people, or those with compromised immune systems around just because it’s not Covid. Adenovirus is very highly transmissible and can live on surfaces for hours. covid and other bacteria and viruses are still around and will also change year to year. It’s spreading fast and people are getting sick with cold-like and weakend respiratory symptoms. This is NOT the time to ignore symptoms or “push through it"

If you’re sick — stay home.
If you feel off — get tested.
Protect your kids, elders, and people with weak immune systems.
Crowded places = be mindful.

This isn’t fear-mongering, it’s being responsible. Let’s do better and look out for each other. 💯

A gentle request of the community, check in on your elderly neighbours or those who live alone over the festive period. There is a lot of pressure around family at this time of year and not everyone has that. If you have a spare mince pie, piece of stollen, Christmas cake or other tasty morsel, or a spare Christmas card just that little act of kindness might make all the difference. ❤️

Lovely trip to West Kirby, we ate at Tansky Bistro.
Walking round the marina lake the sun came out from behind the clouds and it was glorious.

I was unable to make the wreath making course at the weekend, so Helen Brown kindly made one for me to embellish with our family Moose logo. Really appreciate her kindness and community spirit. Starting to feel Christmassy now. 😊
