What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy is a holistic healing treatment that uses natural plant extracts to promote health and well-being. Recently, aromatherapy has gained more recognition in the fields of science and medicine.

Aromatherapy uses aromatic essential oils to enhance physical and emotional health. It may help manage pain, ease digestion, boost relaxation, improve mood, and relieve menstrual symptoms, among other benefits.

Aromatherapy works through the sense of smell and skin absorption using products such as these:

• bathing salts
• body oils, creams, or lotions for massage or topical application
• facial steamers

Each essential oil has an array of unique healing properties, uses, and effects. Combining essential oils to create a synergistic blend creates even more benefits.

Welcome to AquaLuna Healing.

I am a massage therapist who has trained and is registered with the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation. I offer Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology, all of which are great for relaxation and/or pain relief.

At present the only appointments I can offer are either evenings or weekends. To check availability and book an appointment please send me a text or message and I will reply as soon as possible.
