☀️With the weather beginning to get warmer 🤞 ticks are on the rise.

💡The best way to prevent ticks is by using a parasiticide treatment. Checking your dogs after walks and brushing or washing them can help to remove any ticks caught in the coat, before they attach to the skin.

We use a monthly flea, worm and tick product called Nexgard spectra for canines and Stronghold Plus for felines. This treatment is included for our Pet Health for Life plan members.

Prescription only parasite treatments must legally be prescribed by a vet - it is a requirement that your pet has an annual parasiticide check before our vets can prescribe any treatment. This consultation is free of charge, or can be incorporated with an annual vaccination appointment.

Please be aware that there will be a firework display at 7.30pm in Wilton Lodge Park on Saturday. Please ensure that your pets are safe and indoors.

FIREWORKS THIS SATURDAY! 🔥🎆

Get ready for a spectacular night of fire, music, and lights as we reach the peak of our festival with a Torchlight Procession, Bonfire, and Fireworks Display on Saturday 28th March!

⏰ 6:45 PM – Assemble in the Common Haugh for the Torchlight Procession
🚶 7:00 PM – Procession departs (led by Hawick Scout Pipe Band)
🎇 7:30 PM – Bonfire & Fireworks Display in Wilton Lodge Park

🔥 Limited torches & glow sticks will be on sale from 6PM (Torches 16+ only, but glow sticks for all ages!)

‼️ Safety first – Follow stewards’ instructions and take care!

⚠️ Important Notice for Residents & Pet Owners:
Please be aware that loud fireworks will take place from 7.30pm onwards in Wilton Lodge Park. If you have pets, we recommend taking appropriate precautions to keep them safe and comfortable.

Wrap up warm, bring friends & family, and experience a fantastic display!

We had a gorgeous litter of springer spaniels in for first vaccines and microchipping.
They enjoyed exploring the consult room and getting lots of attention.

Primary vaccinations are a vital part of a puppies preventative health care, giving them the best protection against harmful diseases.
