NHS Borders are encouraging people to attend their drop-in sessions.

We're holding some drop-in clinics next week for eligible people to drop-in for their flu and/or COVID-19 vaccination. There's no need to make an appointment, just come along on the day, get protected and tick another thing off your to-do list before Christmas!
New data published yesterday by Public Health Scotland provides clear evidence that this yearās vaccine is doing a good job of preventing severe flu. So far this winter, children in Scotland are 78% less likely to be admitted to hospital with flu if vaccinated; with vaccinated adults in Scotland aged 65 and over 37% less likely to be hospitalised.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the clinic end time. You may need to wait a short while to be seen, as people with pre-booked appointments will be given priority.

⢠All those aged 65 years and over
⢠All those aged 18 years to under 65 years in defined risk groups
⢠Frontline health and social care workers
⢠Non-frontline NHS workers
⢠Poultry workers & bird handlers
⢠Unpaid carers and young carers
⢠Household contacts of those with immunosuppression
⢠Pregnant Women
Flu and COVID-19 Vaccination:
⢠All adults aged 75 years and over
⢠Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed
