This pedicure uses an alkaline based peel to soften and break up the bonds between dead skin cells without stimulating the regrowth of hard callus skin such as rasping and scrubbing.

This type of pedicure also works on healing and refining the skin of the lower leg and feet using an exfoliating system of 3 acids. Lactic, glycolic and sodium hydroxide.
