Our lounge and dining area has had a refresh, and I am so proud of what we have achieved.

A massive thank you to my amazing staff for all your effort and support throughout this project – you are all stars! ⭐

And a special mention to Matt Morris Maintenance and TC carpentry– thank you both for doing such a fantastic job and creating such a welcoming environment for everyone.

A few more finishing touches tomorrow and then it will be put together ready for the perfect place to relax, dine, and socialise. 🥰

Dear Families and Friends,

We are writing to let you know that we will be carrying out some improvement works to the flooring in our main lounge and dining room.

When will this happen?

• Start Date: Wednesday 8th April 2026 ( afternoon)

• Expected Completion: Friday 10th April 2026 (afternoon)

To ensure everyone’s safety and to minimise disruption, residents will remain in their own rooms while the work is being carried out. Our team will be on hand to ensure they are comfortable, have everything they need, and receive their usual care and activities within their rooms or alternative areas of the home.

We understand that changes to routine can be difficult, and we will do our very best to keep the environment calm and normal for our residents.

Once the work is complete, we are sure you will agree that the new flooring will make our communal areas look wonderful and be a nicer space for everyone to enjoy.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to speak to a member of staff.

📚 Behind the Scenes: Training Day! 🚑
Our Deputy Manager Kim Champley took the lead today with some crucial Basic Life Support refresher training for our team.
It wasn't just our regular team taking part—we were joined by Jess Langley who is doing work experience with us from Truro College she did an incredible job with the CPR dummies!
It is vital that our staff keep their skills sharp to keep our residents safe. We are proud to foster a learning culture that supports both our seasoned carers and those just starting their journey in health and social care.
Well done everyone! 👏💚
