Hi all, as many of you know, I rarely post on FB these days, but my beautiful cat, Voodoo has been missing since yesterday & despite searching for hours, I can’t find her…I was hoping she’d be purring on my bed when I woke up this morning…but she’s not!
I feel utterly devastated not knowing where she is, if she’s hurt, scared, lost…
And I know ‘this is what cats do’…but Voodoo isn’t like ‘normal’ cats-she’s always been more of a house cat-she didn’t start using the cat flap until she was about 2 & she rarely leaves our garden. She doesn’t climb, she’s a rubbish hunter & she’s a bit of a loner, preferring her own company to that of people! But she slept on my bed next to me most nights, swamping me with her huge furry tail & rolling over for a belly rub! My husband & I always said she was like a dog trapped in a cat’s body!
My heart is literally breaking with every hour she’s not by my side (or in the other room to me!)…
I’ve done all the usual things-postered/talked to neighbours, left out tuna, hunted in bushes & undergrowth, etc…but either she can’t get home or she’s not where I’m looking & I don’t know what else I can do, than widen the search by having more eyes looking out for her!
She lives in Montague Avenue, Redruth…PLEASE if anyone around the Redruth area spots her or hears of a new stray around, take her to the local vet/cat rescue so they can contact us-she doesn’t wear a collar (never saw a need for one), but she’s microchipped…
She’s quite a big cat with short legs, chocolate brown/black, very long-haired & timid-she won’t willingly approach people, but may respond to her name & some tuna, especially if she’s scared…she’s 8, but she’s always been my baby girl & I don’t think I’ll ever stop crying or rest again until I find her!💔
