As promised last night here is part 2 of Sue’s incredible story and transformation by Finishing Touches Group.

Starting with her initial consultation to hearing how Sue felt about her new look after 30 years!

Sue’s Story Recap- Thirty years ago, Sue was severely injured in a gas explosion due to a poorly installed cooker, an incident that left her without most of her eyebrows and later, visible burn scars on her scalp exacerbated by thinning hair during menopause.

TREATMENT PLAN
Sue’s treatment plan began with eyebrow micropigmentation to restore the natural appearance of her brows, over two sessions we created natural looking hairstrokes and new shape and definition.

Subsequently, Sue received Scalp Micropigmentation (across three sessions). This density treatment not only created an illusion of fuller hair but also helped camouflage her scalp burn scars.

SUE SAYS

“Having undergone these treatments, my confidence has soared, it’s not just about looking better, they have helped me feel better from within. My burn scars are less visible on my scalp when I look in the mirror and after 30 years of waiting, I finally have eyebrows again. It’s truly transformative, they frame my face beautifully, and I’m immensely grateful to the team at FTG”.

Note: Sue also had burns treatments to relax her scar contractures and smooth her skin

As part of awareness month we wanted to show you a couple of films to highlight both: the incredible bravery of the patients in our stories as well as the solutions we have for hair loss at Finishing Touches Group.

Hair Loss Awareness Month takes place every August and is dedicated to educating the public about hair loss, its causes, and the emotional impact it can have. It’s a chance to raise awareness, offer support, and encourage open conversations—breaking the stigma around a condition that affects millions.

We have cut the films into 2 parts. This film introduces you to Sue initially.
