☀️ Summer Fete Fun! 🎉

We hosted our annual Summer Fete in the garden this weekend, it was touch and go in the beginning but we’re happy to report that the weather held out for us in the end! 🌤️

It was a day full of fun, laughter, and lovely company.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day extra special.

A special thank you goes to David Harris for entertaining us with his fantastic singing 🎶 and to Marco the Magician for his wonderful performance. 🎩✨

And of course a big thank you to all the staff and volunteers who made the day run as smoothly as possible.

Moments like these remind us how lucky we are to be part of such a warm and supportive community. ❤️

We had a fantastic therapy animal day. First of all we were joined by Marvin, who was more than happy to accept every cuddle and biscuit that came his way. In the afternoon we were joined by "pet pals", which is always a very popular session.

In the morning, we’ll be joined by Marvin the dog and his lovely owner, visiting us from Therapy Dogs Nationwide.
Marvin will be making his way around the home, stopping by residents’ rooms to spread a little one-on-one comfort and companionship. 🐾💙

In the afternoon, we’re excited to welcome Becca from Pet Pals Therapy!
Becca will be bringing a selection of small, friendly animals that residents will be able to gently hold on their laps, perfect for a cosy cuddle and a little animal magic. 🐐🦔🐹

Becca will be giving an informative talk, sharing fascinating facts and stories about her animals while residents get hands-on experience.
It’s the perfect blend of relaxation, learning.

We can’t wait to see you there for a day full of calm, comfort, and a whole lot of cuteness! 🐾💕
