We were thrilled to be part of St Peter & St James Hospice event 'Shine Bright' again this year, with Lucy Griffin and Denville Hopkins donning their Dudley & Dylan outfits once again.
Well done to the organisers for lighting up the night and providing great entertainment for such a good cause. Touching to see so many loved ones shining bright on the screen throughout the night.

What a great afternoon we spent at Haywards heath and Beechurst Bowls Club, who have raised £1500.00 for the St Peter & St James Hospice .
We are proud to be part of such a great club and team of people.

Sue Vickery, Lucy Griffin and Helen King attended the SAIF independent funeral Trade Association Education day in Leicester on Saturday. This will ensure we keep up to date with changes in the industry and share best practice, having all qualified in their Certificate in Funeral Practice this year.
One of the main topics discussed was about unattended cremations (where there is no funeral service) and the main differences between our service as an independent funeral director against an online company. The second picture illustrates some of these differences but what came over very strongly was families should be able to make an informed choice and by popping into their local funeral director we can share the different options available.

Two of our team, Eric Williams and Sue Vickery attended the AGM for our funeral plan partners Golden Charter Funeral Plans yesterday, held in Birmingham. It was good to hear their achievements for last year including the launch of a new Direct Cremation funeral plan, now available to buy.
