One of the biggest challenges of elderly care is to create a balance for the person you care for.

It’s difficult for anyone to come to terms of others looking after their personal needs like going to the toilet and having a shave.

There are small steps you can always do which make the person you’re caring for feel like they are still in charge.

1. Allow them as much independence as possible.

2. Allow them to choose what they want whether it’s food or weekly tasks.

3. Ask them their favourite songs or food and try to arrange for them.

Inevitably we are all going to become unable to look after ourselves and will need help. .help we aim to maintain a balance and help you to live a happy retirement with all the independence you require.
