Welcome to Nuffield Health, The Manor Hospital, Oxford located in Headington, to the east of Oxford City Centre. Our hospital is Nuffield Health’s largest hospital treating patients from the UK and overseas. The Manor has gained an international reputation for excellence offering patients a premium service in neurosurgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, and cancer care, supported by a specialist paediatric ward, 7 bedded intensive care unit, and 6 bedded PACU ensuring patients receive the best possible care. Our expert consultants and dedicated matron-led support staff take great pride in providing the finest medical care for all our patients in a clean and comfortable hospital setting. We have a limited underground car-park for patient use plus a balcony café where friends and family visiting patients can relax whilst having a refreshment. “I visited Friday for a Mammogram and had a great experience. I arrived 30 mins early as traffic wasn’t as bad as anticipated and was seen immediately (I was happy to wait but they were very accommodating). Lorna Goodwin was my radiographer and what an amazing human being and great asset to the team she is! She was so kind, patient and caring and guided me through everything.”

🌟 My BPH Journey: From Weak Flow to “A Fire Hose”🌟

In this powerful patient story, we hear firsthand from someone whose life was dramatically changed by Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) and the treatment that helped him reclaim normal urinary function: Aquablation Therapy.

He opens up about the daily challenges of living with a poor, weak urine flow (a symptom many men silently struggle with) and shares how his experience at The Manor Hospital transformed everything. After undergoing Aquablation Therapy, he describes the results as going from barely being able to pass urine to “having a fire hose.”

“I received excellent service at The Manor Hospital during my first visit (15/01/2026) when I met the surgeon, Miss Harriet Banford-White, who will carry out a left hip replacement on me in the near future.

Miss Banford-White proved to be a very ‘reassuring presence’, and I became increasingly relaxed in her company with every word she spoke. I liked her no-nonsense approach, and she explained everything very clearly and thoroughly. She addressed all of the issues that I raised in as much detail as the time allowed.

I left the appointment feeling that I will be in very safe hands when she carries out the operation.

Everything about this hospital is impressive: standard of cleanliness, decoration, efficiency at the reception desk, and the pleasant manner of the staff. I couldn’t fault it.
