Fertility comes with a lot of illusions.
That IVF will solve everything.
That AMH is your golden ticket.
That male factor isn’t worth testing.
That miscarriage is just bad luck.
That if it hasn’t happened yet… it’s just not your time yet
But here’s what I see every month:
“Surprise”pregnancies that come after months of prep.
IVF cycles that run smoother because the groundwork was done.
Bodies that respond when we finally look at the whole picture.
And yes, it takes extra time - than simply jumping into IVF.
But when you address what’s been overlooked,
When you give your body what it needs.
The results stop feeling like luck.
They start to make sense.
I just wish the “surprise” positives didn’t feel so surprising.
Because this isn’t the exception, it’s what happens when we look deeper.
This is what we get to be grateful for today:
🧪 Private lab testing
🧫 Microbiome testing
🧠 Practitioners who don’t stop at diagnosis, even less so if it’s unexplained.
👥 Support for the whole couple, not just the lady/egg.

There’s more you can do than you think.
It starts with asking better questions.
And not settling for what looks “normal.”
📌 Save this for when the doubts creep in and reach out if 2026 is “the year we have a baby” as one of my couples set the intention for today.

27/11/2025

You’ve probably been told your blood test results are “normal.”
But has anyone ever shown you what optimal looks like?
Because that’s where the difference lies.

Markers that might be “fine” for the general population, are not always NORMAL for someone trying to conceive.
And we’re not just talking about borderline results.

This is always the first step in my fertility work-up.
The one I never skip.
The one that should never have been skipped for you, because it rules out so much.
And I get it. You’re not looking for more red flags.

What you want is a better understanding.
To start understanding what your body needs and what it’s been trying to tell you.

If you’re planning to try in 2026, reviewing your blood labs with an optimal lens is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to start.

That’s why I’ve brought back my Fertility Blood Decoded mini-course.
✨ Black Friday discount available through Dec - because this information it’s needed. There’s no urgency here.

Inside, I’ll show you:
✓ The optimal ranges for key markers
✓ How to interpret them like a practitioner
✓ What to request if you’re running new labs for the year ahead

DM me for the code or head to my profile.

And if this reel shifted something for youz…save it. It may just come handy when you get your next set of results.

You don’t need a diagnosis or an IVF referral to start making changes. And you don’t need to wait for (more) heartbreak ...
24/11/2025

You don’t need a diagnosis or an IVF referral to start making changes.
And you don’t need to wait for (more) heartbreak to deserve support in your fertility journey.
Nor is there only a specific time to start - even if I recommend you ideally give your bodies the chance to respond in 3-4 months.

Inside this carousel are real client journeys from 2025.
Some froze her eggs
Some went solo
Some prepared for IVF, some just for one last embryo transfer.

They changed their outcomes because they didn’t want to outsource their power only to a protocol, a treatment or to a specific timeline.

And when we treat the body (and when possible, the couple) as a whole system and decide to go deeper with relevant testing , that’s when the magic can really happen.

If 2026 is the year you want your story and your ending to change, save your spot for a January start. Link in bio for ways of having a free chat.

You don’t need a perfect meal plan.
You need a starting point that makes sense in your real life.
Because changing how you eat when your mind is already stretched thin begins with something doable.
What I share in clinic is simple, on purpose.
✔ A few versatile, nutrient-rich ingredients you always have on hand
✔ Cooking in sync with the seasons: soups, stews, and warm veg in the colder seasons
✔ Meals that prioritise fertility nutrients without adding stress
✔ And when we have data from testing, we build from there
This isn’t about being “good.”
It’s about giving your body the signals of safety it needs.
And what becomes possible from there is bigger than just food.
It’s energy.
It’s steadiness.
It’s the “I’ve got this” on a journey that asks so much of you.
So if you’ve been wondering where to start…
Maybe it’s here.
With the meals already in your fridge… one ingredient at a time, cooked with love and the knowing that you’re just getting started :).

Some of the most common fertility blind spots I see in clinic aren’t about what you’re doing, they’re about what you’ve been led to believe like…

• Taking folic acid & vitamin D is enough
• oh no wait…taking more supplements is better to cover all the bases.
• IVF will fix everything
• The “unexplained infertility” label is the end of the road
• That your age is a life sentence
• That your body has a mind of its own and you don’t know if you’re timing things right
• That the male side is… fine, he’s healthy

So if you’re wondering where to start….or restart, here’s what I come back to every single time:

✔ You can never go wrong by starting with whole food nutrition and the right lifestyle, for both egg and s***m health.
✔ It’s not about more supplements, it’s about the right ones, for you.
✔ There are key foods and minerals that are genuinely non-negotiable in the preconception phase.
✔ And yes, you have more testing options than you’ve likely been told. Functional testing can uncover missing links before IVF is even on the table or give IVF the steady ground it needs to work better.
We’ll be unpacking this in person at this week’s Fertility Pod event in Oxford:

These are the kinds of tests I use most in clinic (beyond comprehensive blood testing) and I was so excited to have seen the process myself.

This week I visited Salient Bio, a cutting edge UK based lab, to learn how shot gun genetic sequencing is changing the game when it comes to microbiome testing, especially in fertility with the vaginal microbiome.

But what most people don’t realise is:
→ Many tests only check for a limited number of species.
→ They miss how specific microbes interact within the whole microbiome.
→ And they often leave couples thinking they’ve “ruled things out”, when they’ve barely scratched the surface.
I often have clients come to me after being told everything looks fine…
Or that they’ve “already checked” their microbiome.
But when we look at their tests or when we re-test with comprehensive methods, we get an entirely differently nuanced picture.

Using the latest technology we can be more accurate, leave no blind spots and we can truly say that we looked at all the options.

I’ll be talking more about this in person this week inside my Thursday Fertility Pod in Oxford, you can sign up via the link in bio.

Here are 5 things MEN should actually be more concerned about than women when it comes to fertility.
🔥 Heat of any kind – Laptops on laps, phones in pockets, hot baths, saunas: all of these create heat stress that affects s***m production and quality for weeks.
🏃‍♂️ Endurance training: Long-distance cycling, marathon prep, and intense HIIT routines can suppress testosterone and compromise s***m health. Being fit can be positive but signing up to a challenge or a marathon can wait.
🍬 Blood sugar dysregulation – If your energy crashes or you get irritable when hungry, it could be a sign. Blood sugar imbalances affect inflammation, hormone levels, and s***m motility.
🦠 Asymptomatic seminal microbiome infections – You don’t need symptoms to have low-grade infections that affect s***m DNA or increase miscarriage risk. These should be looked at with more in depth testing.
🧴 Exposure to toxins + alcohol – Plastics, mold, solvents, alcohol, and even some common meds can affect s***m at the DNA level. A “normal” count doesn’t mean they’re healthy.

Except for the heat, 4 of these factors of course affect women’s fertility too. This is why it’s about becoming a TEAM.

Tonight at 6:15 pm we’re diving into this inside the Fertility Pod Call.

We’re talking about male fertility, what’s often missed, and what you can do.

Link’s in the bio — come join the conversation. Bring your partner. Bring your questions.

Time to move those berries aside….
Yes, they’re great for your microbiome
And yes, they’re a cornerstone of the Mediterranean diet and what every doctor (and nutritionist tell you to eat)
But let’s talk about why they work… in spring and summer but maybe not so much in the winter…
The real thread here is your mitochondria
These tiny energy centres inside your cells
They power the quality of your eggs
They fuel s***m movement
They support hormone production
And they’re deeply sensitive to what your food has been exposed to
Mitochondria read light
They respond to seasonal rhythms
And they’re supported by the microbiome that also shifts with the seasons
So while the Med diet and gut health matter
It’s the seasonal signals that bring your fertility back into sync
This is why seasonal eating isn’t just a nice idea
It’s a biological support strategy
And it’s one of the many nuances we explore inside the Fertility Pod. We go way beyond testing, supplements and the Mediterranean diet.

We meet every Thursday (tonight!) at 6:15PM UK time.

Last night I joined the launch event for the new male fertility supplement

We heard from Mr. Ramsey, one of the UK’s leading fertility urologists, and his message was clear: we need to start with prevention.
That means:
* Avoiding endocrine disruptors like plastics and pesticides
* Supporting metabolic health and antioxidant intake
* Looking at root contributors to DNA fragmentation early on, including the seminal microbiome.
* Understanding how s***m health impacts long term health
What we do in the months before trying matters. for men just as much as for women.

It was such a wonderfully organised celebration and so great to meet so many lovely familiar faces and new! Including the founder of (watch my stories for an event not to be missed)

I’ll be sharing more of what I learned in tonight’s Fertility Pod call at 6:15 PM UK time.
All are welcome, whether you’re TTC, in IVF, or simply want to understand more about fertility from a whole-body perspective.
We’re not just talking about supplements.
We’re talking about strategy, science, and support that makes a difference.
