Pregnant women are encouraged to get four types of vaccination to better protect themselves and their baby.
✅ Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)
✅ Whooping cough (pertussis)
✅ COVID-19
✅ Flu
All four injections are all recommended during pregnancy and are available year-round.
Women can get their vaccinations at one of two dedicated drop-in maternity immunisation hubs at the John Radcliffe and Horton General hospitals.
Women are encouraged to get their vaccinations during their antenatal appointments, subject to staff and vaccine availability. There is no need to book.
