A short story for you…

I met this gorgeous woman on an intro session I held for along with others. As Cat was pregnant with her third baby, she then joined and me at our Held pregnancy retreat last year.

Cat then came and completed her Doula training with me earlier this year and then hired me as her Doula where I witnessed her raw power as she birthed her son.

I wore this jumper to her birth and she later got one for the memories. We then met up both wearing the jumper for the sheer joy of it 🩶🩶

The End.

What a journey. What a total privilege. And totally not the end!

When I get to witness the most sublime care and it stops me in my tracks. Heart totally full. Eyes glassy & goose bumps a plenty.

No two births are the same. Different journeys, different bodies, different babies, different stories.

I don’t advocate for one type of birth. I advocate for YOU and what you need from your birth experience - with your story at the very centre of it all.

I’m so grateful for the grounding energy these birth spaces bring to my world. Raw energy, love, connection and power 💖

On Sunday, a group of gorgeous women came together to be held in their pregnancies and the energy they brought into the space was so sacred 🌹

It was a chance to breathe, move, rest, share, learn and simply feel into their bodies.

A space brought together by and - our vision was simply to support pregnant women to land in their bodies and believe in their capabilities for birth and motherhood.

The space was safe and brave. The connections made were so lovely to witness and the sharing of vulnerability, lived experience and joy was powerful!

Thank you to those who trusted us to support you, it was such a joy for us both (proof in the last picture, the oxytocin high was off the chart) 🥰

My third baby, but my first to keep me waiting. I’m just not sure how you turn 8 tomorrow!

We were capturing our last few moments of you wombside, as we prepared to welcome you earthside.

The biggest gift I gave myself was doing my Doula training before my third baby - I felt so connected. So sure. So true to me and you.

You had been giving me hints you were ready - like a little dance. I have never felt so connected to what my body needed and wanted.

It feels like a lifetime ago but at the same time I don’t know where those years have flown to!
