Louise Hallam Holistic Therapies

Louise Hallam Holistic Therapies I offer Reflexolgy treatments. My name is Louise and I am a qualified Reflexologist. I am a member of the Association of Reflexologists.

I received my training at Caritas School of Reflexology in Beeston, Nottingham, gaining a Diploma Level 3 in Reflexology and Anatomy and Physiology. Reflexology is an ancient healing art which can be practiced on the hands or feet. It is a gentle, holistic therapy which encourages the body to regain balance and heal itself. It works by applying pressure to certain areas of the hands or feet, called reflexes. These reflexes mirror the structure of the body and the organs within the body. Applying pressure to these reflexes can unblock any congestion and allow the free-flow of energy throughout the body, therefore helping with a wide range of conditions, on either a physical or emotional level. I am able to carry out your treatment by visiting you in the comfort of your own home, or alternatively, you can come to my own home, where you can relax and enjoy your treatment in a peaceful and calming environment, without interruption. After your initial consultation, I will carry out a gentle 45 minute treatment on your hands or feet. From this treatment, I will then create your very own personal treatment plan, carefully thought out in order for you to gain maximum benefit from your treatments. I am happy to answer any questions you may have leading up to your treatment and offer competitive rates, together with a friendly and genuine service. I look forward to hearing from you, Louise xx

**Please note that cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the cost of the treatment before rebooking. No shows will be charged at full price. It may also be necessary, on occasions , to take a 50% deposit upon making an appointment with me. Thank you for your understanding**

🤎🧡Hello my lovely friends. I needed to see this today as I've had a migraine this morning, which put me back in bed. I'm feeling better now, just feeling drained from the aftermath.

My migraines catch me when I'm feeling stressed or overwhelmed. Sometimes I feel that hormones can play a part too.

I discovered Reflexology when my migraines started to get a bit out of control and I began to suffer with anxiety due to them.

Reflexology helped to rebalance my hormones, relax my mind and generally encouraged my body to regain balance and heal itself. My anxiety reduced and therefore, so did my migraines.

Please listen to your body and try to remember that stress has a huge impact on your everyday life, causing physical as well as emotional symptoms.

I know I have been struggling, but now it's time for me to rest and reset.

Please contact me if you'd like to book an appointment. You are very important.

With love, Lou🧡🤎

🍂I love walking through the park during this beautiful time of the year. It definitely helps my mental health when I'm out in the fresh air. And having adopted mum's dog Lily, I'm out at the park more than ever 🍂

🧡🤎Hello my lovely friends on this rainy Friday! I hope you are all well and taking care of yourselves.

Well, the month of October is upon us already! The leaves are changing and looking beautiful outside my treatment room.

October is Menopause Awareness Month and this may be the perfect opportunity to get booked in for a treatment if you are going through peri menopause or the menopause.

I am in menopause and struggle with sleep, joint pain, brain fog and hot flushes (which turn up at most inconvenient times!)

What I do find really beneficial are my regular Reflexology treatments.

This amazing treatment can be really welcoming during this, sometimes difficult, time in our lives. It can help to regain the balance of our hormones encouraging a better sleep pattern, which, in turn can reduce brain fog.

Reflexology can also reduce inflammation within the body which can help with joint pain.

My hot flushes are still around, but as Reflexology is a deeply relaxing treatment, it helps the mind to slow down and reduce anxiety (another symptom of menopause) and lower the amount of flushes, which can sometimes be induced by an overactive brain.

If you are struggling with any of these symptoms and more, I'd love to hear from you.
I am currently offering a 10% discount off your first treatment when you book with me this month, so why don't you give me a try?

Sending you all love, Lou🤎🧡

🧡🤎Hello lovely friends. Well September is here already and Heanor Park is looking beautiful this afternoon. I always feel that late summer has a stillness about it and that's how if definitely felt as I was walking with Lily.

I hope you've all had a lovely summer and anyone with school age children, I hope they are getting used to their routine again.

For me, September is always a time to reset and think about getting into the swing again with early get ups, regular mealtimes and exercise. And also taking care of myself, both mentally and physically. This summer has been a tough one for me, so I'm going to be kind to myself over the next few months. And I hope you all do too.

Reflexology will become one of my regular treatments again. I love how it settles me and helps my body to regain balance.

Let me know if you are ready to book a treatment with me. I'd love to hear from you.

Take care of yourselves and lots of love, Lou🤎🧡

🧡💙Good morning my lovely friends. I hope you're all ok and have had a lovely sunny bank holiday weekend.

I have just got home from my family holiday in Skiathos and have had a wonderful time. After losing Mum, it was definitely something I needed and has given me time to reflect and recharge.

I am now back in my treatment room and appointments are all full for this week and next. I do have availability for week commencing 8th September, so please let me know if you would like to book in with me.

In the meantime, please take care of yourselves.

Sending lots of love to you all and a few pics from my holiday. Lou xx🧡💙

🩶🖤Good Afternoon my lovely friends.

As I'm coming to the end of my first working week since Mum died, I would like to thank all of my beautiful clients for the love and support you have given me. It's been a tough week, but if it wasn't for you all, it would have been so much tougher.

I am so blessed to have such lovely kind souls around me, checking in with me on a regular basis.

Sending you all my love, Lou🖤🩶

🧡🧡Good morning my lovely friends.

Most of you will have seen on my personal page, that I lost my beautiful Mum this week 😢

💜🧡Hello my lovely friends. Happy June (a few days late, I know).

I've not posted for a while, as my mum is quite poorly in hospital, so I've spent most of my time with her over the last couple of weeks.

I'm sorry I've had to postpone some of your treatments. I'm finding it a little bit of a struggle at the moment and not sure I would be of too much help to anyone just now.

Please bare with me and I hope to be back to normal with my appointments very soon.

Please take care and look after yourselves.

With love, Lou🧡💜
