Here at The Pilates Boutique we do not practice Pilates to be good at Pilates we practice Pilates to be good at Life! Our bodies are designed to move in all ways possible and our classes make this happen.
Every exercise, every movement has a ‘why’ a reason for doing it and that reason is to help you live an active life doing what you love for as long as possible.
Our classes are not a list of pretty, flowing exercises that look good, they are well thought through exercises that concentrate on building functional strength and mobility that will help you in your everyday life! To pick grandchildren up with ease, get up and down off the floor, chase after your dog, reach the high cupboard with balane and control, play sports with less risk of injury, not to ache….. that is functional strength, to live your one wild and precious life with all the energy and viatality you can!
