Why Do Aches Feel Worse at Night?

Ever noticed your back, neck, or joints seem more painful when you’re trying to relax in the evening?

During the day, movement and distraction can mask discomfort. But when your body slows down, tension and restrictions become more noticeable.

It’s not “just in your head” — it’s your body asking for attention.

Osteopathic treatment can help reduce that underlying strain so you can properly switch off and rest.

Better nights start with a body that’s in balance.

Desk Work & Posture Check

Spending hours at a desk? You’re not alone, and your back, neck, and shoulders are feeling it.

Try this quick posture reset:

✔ Feet flat on the floor
✔ Screen at eye level
✔ Shoulders relaxed, not hunched
✔ Take a stretch break every 30–60 minutes
If discomfort is becoming your “normal,” osteopathic treatment can help address
the root cause, not just the symptoms.

Your posture today affects how you feel tomorrow.

Feeling more tired than usual since the clocks changed?

Lighter evenings often mean we do more, but your body doesn’t always adjust as quickly as your schedule. Changes in sleep, activity levels, and routine can lead to tension, stiffness, and fatigue.

If you’re noticing new aches this spring, it might not be a coincidence.

Osteopathy can help your body adapt and stay balanced as the seasons change.

I'm so incredibly grateful for this amazing lady! After experiencing full right-side numbness following an MRI, and being repeatedly told by neurologists and multiple consultants that it was probably just a migraine with nothing visibly wrong, I felt completely in the dark for so long.

Yet, in just one appointment with her, she diagnosed me with TOS (Thoracic Outlet Syndrome) and started treating my neck and pectoral muscles. After only a few treatments, the numbness in my face and arms is gone!

Thank you so much! It's truly life-changing.

Is my posture causing my pain?

Posture isn’t about sitting perfectly straight all day, it’s about how well your body adapts to the positions you spend the most time in.

Long hours at a desk, driving, or looking down at phones can create tension patterns in the neck, shoulders and lower back. Over time, this may contribute to stiffness, headaches or discomfort.

Osteopathic treatment focuses on improving mobility and reducing strain, alongside practical advice you can use day to day.

Small changes can make a big difference.
