To assist with service support and administration

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with organising existing maintenance programme and work allocation and providing support to our team of engineers out on the road throughout the South East of England.
• Producing quotations for the service and repair of existing equipment.
• Communicating with customers on a daily basis and assisting with any enquiries they have and support they require.
• Keeping engineers training up to date
• General administration duties to include, answering phone, audio typing, processing orders, invoicing, filing, checking in orders, maintaining stock levels and general office duties.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

• Experience of working in a busy office
• Excellent telephone manor
• Strong Typist & good computer skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually
• Takes responsibility for own actions and adheres to deadlines
• IT knowledge desirable

We are looking for an experienced engineer to carry out work within care homes on equipment which includes Fire Alarms, Emergency Lights, Nurse Call Systems and Lifting Equipment.

The successful candidate will need to come from a service/maintenance and installation background with electrical/mechanical fault finding skills.

Ideal Candidate will have-

• Service & Installation Experience
• Electrical/mechanical Fault Finding Experience
• Full UK Driving Licence

Southern County Care are continually trying to ensure that they are covering all bases where it comes to protecting both our customers and our staff. An Intercall Touch Nurse Call System that our engineers started installing over the last 18 months was, last week, commissioned at the lovely Beachcroft House Care Home in Maida Vale, London. Another cracking job! 💪🏼
