When I started Bohemia Holistics, I never thought I'd be editing Instagram posts 16 years later. I've worked under my umbrella within a variety of places, including cancer care, corporate settings, mobile therapy, private clients and at The Alternative Health Clinic in New Mills. I am currently based here today. Over the years I have seen ups and downs, as all businesses do but without the continuing clients who come to see me, there would be no business. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, for supporting me over the last 16 years.

Reshaping, as it's a great reminder that we are supposed to be 'wintering' right now. January is about hybernating, slowness, ritual, caring for ourselves. We are not meant to be working out of our natural cycle. Nature shows us that we need to be still. Allow your body and mind that stillness. Selfcare

The pressure of Christmas and New Year can be overwhelming. We can often feel pulled into the expectation that we need to set resolutions, start new projects, begin new healthy routines etc. And when we can't achieve it we are left feeling like a failure. Nature teaches us that winter is a time for rest and nurture. Follow this path. Plan new projects if you want to but start in spring when we are naturally more able, because we naturally start to have more increased energy during this time of year. Be kind to yourself 🙏❤️

It's so easy to get caught up in the business and brightness of Christmas. Yet for some people, this time of year can bring difficulties. Often around mental and physical health. It's OK to take a step back from the madness. We are often expected to be on the go constantly yet this time of year asks us to be quieter and more subdued. Allow yourself some time ❤️
