Good assessment skills

You’ll be good at communicating with all sorts of people, in person and in writing
You’ll be able to supervise, develop and teach other nurses

The Clinical Lead assists the Care Manager with professional and administrative duties and is responsible to the Manager for the care /nursing matters in the Home whilst ensuring that the Care Manager is kept informed at all times.

Senior nurse/ Clinical Lead
Assist the home manager / clinical lead in conducting robust management audits to ensure compliance with relevant professional, regulatory and contractual requirements, and to take corrective action if required. This specifically includes the administration of medication and related issues, and the update and review of care plans and all related documentation.

· Taking responsibility for the nursing resource rota with the clinical lead. This includes enforcing the contractual requirements of nurses to be available when reasonably required.
