This week’s Knit & Natter club brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and great conversation! 🧶😄
The chat was flowing, and as always, the natter definitely outweighed the knitting!

As for the Men’s Club… well, the games certainly brought out their competitive streak! 😄 There was plenty of friendly banter, a few “serious” moments over the scores, but all in all, lots of laughter, great conversation, and a fantastic time was had by everyone ❤️

The fabulous Derek Hodgson entertained us this afternoon with a Rat Pack–style set, and what a fantastic time we had! 🎤✨
There was a constant stream of dancers, a bit of air guitar, and plenty of singing along—our residents definitely gave Derek a run for his money! 🎶🎸
And I think it’s safe to say… there may have been a little bit of love in the air too 🥰❤️

HOW DO YOU PICK YOURS?

Today we all picked a horse for the Grand National, with prizes of chocolate & toiletries ready to be handed out for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place 🐎🍫
Some took it very seriously, studying the odds and form, while others looked at the jockey’s colours. A few liked horses with names that meant something special to them, and the rest just went with the flow—because let’s face it… anything can happen in the Grand National!

Sending a lovely big thank you to Margaret who came with me & braved the wind to pick out the prizes.

Now we wait and see who our lucky winners will be 🤞

The residents have had a lovely Easter weekend filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of chocolate! 🍫💛

We enjoyed a variety of Easter-themed games, shared lots of special moments together, and everyone was delighted to receive their Easter eggs. To top it all off, we finished the weekend with a fun little Easter egg hunt, which brought out plenty of excitement and friendly competition! 🐰🥚

It’s been wonderful to see everyone getting involved and enjoying the celebrations. A big thank you to our amazing staff for making it all so special! 💐
