We are hiring!

Recruiting for domiciliary care workers in the following areas including Elland, Brighouse, Mytholmroyd, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden.

The rounds we have available will require car drivers.

Family owned business, passionate about giving our customers fantastic care, we're always on the lookout for people with enthusiasm and a can do attitude.

Don't worry if you haven't already got relevant skills and qualifications, fully paid training is provided at our 4 day in house induction. We also provide free ongoing personal development such as L2 and 3 in health and social care. We provide your DBS certificate and uniform.

£12.25 per hour minimum, plus travel time, and 45 pence per mile for drivers. Part time and full time hours available. Early and late shifts and must be available to work weekends. We provide care to people in your community 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, 7 days per week.

It's going to be very hot again today so please help us to help our customers and keep an eye out when we're not around. Following the announcement we made regarding the passing of our friend and colleague Caroline Dougherty (Caz) we would like to send our love thoughts and kind wishes to all her family and friends today. Many people from Welcome Independent Living will today be paying their love and respect to Caroline at the service and gathering afterwards in Halifax. We were honoured and privileged to have Caroline as a colleague and friend that worked with us all for many, many years and will be sadly missed. Today and always we will remember Caroline...Caz.

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of our friend and colleague Caroline Dougherty.
Caz was instrumental in the development of Welcome Independent Living since she came to work for us over 10 years ago. Caroline was Locality Manager for the Halifax area and will be remembered for her dedication to our vulnerable elderly customers, her care for staff wellbeing and a very dry and rather wicked sense of humour. She was liked and loved by all. Our hearts go out to her family and friends at this very difficult time. If you knew Caroline you’d know she hated her photo being taken so here’s a couple of older ones we found 💔
