Christmas can be a difficult time of year for many of us who have lost a loved one. On Tuesday evening we joined with our community in remembrance of those we have lost this year, at the Christmas Memorial Service at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium. We came together, shared memories and lit candles for dearly departed loved ones. We wrote messages on tags for our memorial tree in loving memory of our family and friends, who we hold dear, at this time of year... and always.

If you would like to write a message for our memorial Christmas tree, you can pop in to our funeral home, or give us a call and we will write one for you.

If you are struggling with the loss of a loved one at this time of year, please reach out to those around you and share how you're feeling. Some charities and organisations specifically support people through bereavement and loss. If you think you or someone else you know might need some support, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Autumn is well and truly in full swing! To mark the season we have some beautiful autumnal leaves on our memorial tree in the funeral home, where you can dedicate a leaf.

Come in and share a memory and dedicate a leaf to a loved one. Donations received will be given to children's charity Barnardo's.
