Taking care of yourself isn't just about joining a gym and/or "going on a diet" (shudder.....). There's far more to it than that!
On a side note, I haven't been inside a gym for several years, and the way I eat on a daily, consistent basis maintains my weight perfectly. And trust me, I eat a LOT and love my food!
Physical health is also about getting out in nature, especially first thing in the morning. Taking little walks after meals, by the way, is an excellent way to regulate hormones, reduce blood sugar spikes and maintain your weight.
We also need to actually nourish ourselves with whole, natural fuel. As a nation, we are sadly overfed but undernourished.
And we all know how important exercise is. We need resistance and cardio training. But one aspect that many ignore is mobility. Just some gentle stretching can do wonders.
Oh, and also don't neglect that rest and recovery time. Time just for you.
Those are some of my non negotiables, in a very brief nutshell. If you want help with making a difference to your own health, nutrition and fitness, I'm happy to help. I've been there, done that, and now know how to help you get back into that old, favourite T-shirt!

One of my biggest tips? Get straight out, as soon as you're awake. Maybe get dressed first, though, haha. No coffee. No scrolling. Just the natural, morning light, a bit of gentle movement and fresh air.
You don't have to go far. Even ten minutes will give you a boost, and help to reset your natural circadian rhythm and balance that morning cortisol surge.
Try it for one week. Let me know how you feel!

Think salads are "boring"? See them as "rabbit food"? Think you'll starve to death eating them?
Well, all I can say is that you've obviously never had one of MY salads! And, even more shocking, there's no fish, chicken, meat, oil, sauces, eggs or cheese on there, either!
I'm not saying everyone needs to go 100% plant based, I'm just saying you have been seriously misinformed about what your body (and palate) needs, and what fills you up!

Have fun. Be silly. Get outside in nature. Move your body. Try not to take life too seriously. Live, laugh, love your life!
It's not about gym memberships and fad diets. It's about a healthy mindset first. The physical benefits come from that!

Here's a good workout for you.
Less than half an hour, no equipment or floor work. A fab mix of cardio and resistance all for the lower body and core.
Give it a go! And worth it just to laugh at me struggling with my balance! Hey, I'm no different to anyone else!

Give it a go.
Shoe on the floor. Lift one foot off the floor and try keep it off, as you reach for your shoe, stand up and put it on. Slippers make it a bit easier.....
