Once again our amazing team has completed their annual Medical Emergencies in Dental Surgeries training. Joe, Jill and Katie have also completed their Immediate Life Support training!

This comprehensive training covered Adult & Paediatric Basic Life Support, heart attacks & angina, fainting, diabetes, choking, and seizures—ensuring we are fully prepared to handle emergencies with confidence.

November is Mouth Cancer Awareness Month which is dedicated to raising awareness about mouth cancers. It aims to educate the public about the risk factors, symptoms, and importance of early detection in improving survival rates.

Early signs may include persistent mouth sores, difficulty swallowing or changes in the voice. Visiting a dentist regularly is an important part of early detection and prevention of mouth cancer. Dentists are trained to spot signs of oral cancers during routine checkups, even before symptoms become obvious to the patient.
