Did you know you're an elemental being?? 🌊☀️🌍🌬️

I've always felt like I'm more than just flesh and bone. When dancing I feel the swiftness and lightness of wind, when practicing yoga I feel grounded and fluid. When in my garden, I turn towards the sun like the plants I'm growing.

Simply, nature isn't just something out there, it's within us just as deeply, if only we can pause long enough to feel it 🙏🏼

This is my EXACT intention with the next instalment of Silence & Song: Nature

A four month course on meditation and mantra for heightened nature connection 🌳

We'll do many types of meditation, but one of my current favourites is bhuta shuddhi..

A Tantrik meditation focusing on the blending of the elements within.
This image I created helps root us in the elemental anatomy..

🌱The feet & legs are of the earth.
🌊 The hips flow with water.
🔥 The heart is the seat of fire.
🧠 The mind is light of air.
✨ And above is the expanse of space.

If you'd like to develop this kind of meditation as a personal practice or in your teaching, comment below and I'll send you the course details ☺️

Anatomy was never my strong suit. BUT when I wanted to learn about my own body and why it moved and felt the way it did, I learnt!

I'm hypermobile, which means my joints can move within a wider range of motion than average.
If left unchecked, joints can dislocate, but luckily, yoga offers a wide range of ways to strengthen muscles and ligaments and build awareness.

So this July & August, I’m running a 2-part online CPD for yoga teachers on Supporting Hyper-mobility in Yoga.

We’ll explore:
• How to spot when students are collapsing into range
• Stability vs mobility through the skeleton
• Strength vs flexibility through the muscles
• How to cue for integrity rather than depth or aesthetic
• Practical tools you can bring straight into class

It’s £65 for two 2-hour workshops, including lifetime replay access and presentation materials.

Dates: Saturday 11th July & Saturday 15th August
Time: 9–11am
Where: Online via Zoom

I hope to inspire and ground your wisdom in this specific anatomical subject, to help your students stay healthy and strong!

Silence & Song Pt 3: Nature 🌳

I LOVE sharing these 4-Part courses on meditation & mantra.
And this time, we explore how these two timeless practices can help us connect more to nature. Not just mother nature, but our own inner nature.

I really feel like impatience and disconnection are rising in us all.
Id love to bring us together in slow, deeply mindful practices that anchor us in 'now' and kindness to ourselves and the earth 🌍

We'll meet one Tuesday a week for 4 months on zoom. You'll have access to।the presentation slides, class replays, mantra recordings and a playlist of our mantras.

May’s theme inside the Rhythm & Ritual membership: the descent of Ganga 🌊

This month we’re guided by the ancient story of Ganga arriving on Earth, a myth that speaks of devotion, surrender, and the power of grace to cleanse what feels heavy, stuck, or unresolved.

In Indian philosophy, Ganga isn’t just a river… she is a living current of purification. A force that softens karmic weight, washes through old narratives, and reminds us that renewal is always possible.

Across the month, our three weekly practices will follow her flow:
🌸 Mondays we awaken and energies, refreshing!
💭 Wednesdays we soothe ourselves into dream
🙏🏼 Fridays we meditare in the quiet undercurrent of life.
Each class an invitation to release, to trust, to return.

I’ve been lucky enough to sit beside her waters in Rishikesh more than once, guiding retreats and making great friends along the way. And I can honestly say, some of the most profound days of my life have unfolded there.
There’s something about Ganga that words don’t quite capture. The sound of the aarti at dusk, flames flickering against the current. The rhythm of life in the city that wraps itself around her.

The people, the devotion, the feeling that the river is not separate from any of it.
I’ve witnessed tears fall into her waters.
Held people as they released stories they’d carried for years.
Watched something soften… clear… shift.
Not because the river “fixes” anything -
but because she invites you to let go.

This water is different.
Not just in its origin, but in its presence, you can feel it.

And this month, I’d love to take you there, virtually. To move, rest, and sit in the spirit of Ganga together.
If you’re feeling the call to cleanse, to soften, to begin again… you’re so welcome to join🤍

Membership for the month is £32
- and of course you can cancel anytime.

What a joy ✨

I spent yesterday morning sharing mythic yoga with , exploring inversions through the lens of story, symbolism, and inner experience.

We journeyed into the tale of Samudra Manthana: the churning of the cosmic ocean. Where gods and demons join forces to draw amrita, the nectar of vitality, from the depths.

This isn’t just an ancient story from far away. It’s a living map of our own inner landscape.

🌊 The ocean becomes the body
🏔️ The mountain, anchored deep below, becomes our awareness; steady, rooting inward
🐍 The serpent, wrapped and pulling, becomes the rhythm of breath; ebbing and flowing

And the churning? That’s the practice.

Each time we move, breathe, or turn ourselves upside down, we stir what’s been settled in the depths, not always what we expect, or even what we want. Frustration, restlessness, joy, ease… sometimes all in the same session 🙃

But yoga isn’t about controlling what arises. It’s about staying with the process. Letting the churning happen. Meeting ourselves in it.

And from that steady, sometimes messy exploration, something vital begins to emerge - a sense of aliveness, clarity, and connection.

A small nudge to keep showing up… and to live as fully, healthily, and joyfully as we can 🧡

Thank you to everyone who explored with such open-heartedness yesterday. To telling more stories and letting our inner playful 7-year old take the lead more often!

I highly recommend joining if you're passionate about learning more of the depth and vastness of yoga within a bloomin' lovely community

🙏🏼

How lucky I am to do this work.. ✨

I've just finished an evening of teaching. In my beautiful local village hall and then online.

We explored water, descent, fluidity, the seat of the self and our seed point.
Twigs of course added massively to the relaxation as she's a highly qualified nervous system regulator 🙏🏼

If you're yearning for little but frequent yoga rooted in philosophy, mythology, anatomy, nature and community connection, sprinkled through your week, I may just be your gal 🙌🏼

Rhythm & Ritual continues in May and I'd love to welcome you to our beautiful online haven.

We meet 3 times a week to breathe into the body, unwind the mind and Harmonise the heart.
You have access to all replays, usually within an hour of the class ending, and constant support from me 🥰

It's £32 for May, fancy joining?
