How lucky I am to do this work.. ✨

I've just finished an evening of teaching. In my beautiful local village hall and then online.

We explored water, descent, fluidity, the seat of the self and our seed point.
Twigs of course added massively to the relaxation as she's a highly qualified nervous system regulator 🙏🏼

This STUNNING weather has me so excited for a British summer ☀️

And as the Summer Soul-stice retreat sold out in just a few days, I added another 😏

Abroad travel may be trickier this year, but that doesn't mean we can have a beautiful nature soaked weekend, filled with yoga, delicious food from , watercolour wellbeing with and of course the magic of Glastonbury, just a stones throw away!

Shubh Hanumān Jayanti 🧡

Today is Hanuman Jayanti.

I don’t experience Hanumān as a god I worship from a distance. I feel him as something closer, something lived.

A blueprint.

A reminder of what devotion feels like when it moves through a body, through breath, through action.

His strength and mighty leap, his humility, his unwavering service. These aren’t qualities I place outside of myself.
They’re qualities I’m learning to recognize within myself, in small, human ways.

In the moments I feel lost, weak, or uncertain, I don’t pray to be saved. I remember.

I remember that courage can be quiet.
That service can be joyful.
That love can be steady, even when I’m not.

Through my practice, my relationships, my work, I try to live in that spirit. Not perfectly, but sincerely.

For me, Hanumān isn’t about religion.
He’s about devotion as a way of being.

And today is simply a moment to honor that.

Oh she's so beautiful.. 😍

This is not all of the cards, this is a 40 card deck। The image just looks messy if I include them all in the picture.

But you get the idea, hopefully!

I think I'm most proud of this deck of cards. Every time I create one, my writing refines, my knowledge both expands and deepens and I feel a distilling of wisdom within myself.
Of course the help of was paramount in the editing 😘

Thank you for teaching me the value of a good hug,
Thank you for always greeting me with a smile,
Thank you for encouraging me at every turn,
Thank you for always listening with an open heart,
Thank you for always knowing it's the little things that count,
Thank you for showing me what it feels like to be loved unconditionally.

6 thank you's for every decade you've made this world brighter and better.

I know everyone who's had the pleasure of knowing you so far in this, life is better for it!

I love you doesn't seem to cut it most of the time, so whatever is more than love.. I feel that for you ❤️

Oh, and thank you for shaping my incredible music taste! Some of our favourite songs are mashed up here.

One of my favourite memories is you coming home from a girly night out in London when I was maybe 7 years old. You told me you'd been dancing on tables in the bar and we recreated it in the lounge at 3am 🤣

Lauren has been teaching for 6 years and practicing for 14. Prior to Yoga teaching she trained professionally in the world of dance (ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and much more), training that has never left her physical repertoire.
