🛑 On Tuesday 31st March the Practice will be migrating from our current clinical system to a new hosted system.
🛑Our computer systems will be unavailable on Tuesday morning therefore, for patient safety, there will be NO appointment availbilty during this time.
🛑We aim to have systems back up snd running by Tuesday afternoon when there will be limited appointments available for non-routine issues only.
🛑For all routine appointments and other matters, the Practice can be contacted from Wednesday onwards.

On 10th April, some members of Team Millig staff and GPs, alongside our amazing colleague Jackie and her friends and family, will be taking on the huge challenge of climbing Ben Nevis ⛰️

We’re raising funds for Sands in memory of Jackie’s son, Lyle Leishman 🩵

Outbreak of Meningococcal Group B infection in Kent.

The practice is aware of the current outbreak of Meningococcal Group B in Kent. Cases are linked to the local area with no evidence of any increased risk or wider spread to elsewhere including Scotland.
There is currently no change to the existing vaccination programme in Scotland and the practice has no access to the MenB Vaccine.

💙 Supporting Sands 💙
This year, Millig’s chosen charity is Sands, the charity that supports families affected by pregnancy and baby loss, speaks up for bereaved families, and works tirelessly to save babies’ lives.
As a practice team, we are showing our love and support for our colleague Jackie and her family, following the heartbreaking loss of their son Lyle, who was born at 23 weeks. Lyle fought so bravely for 12 precious hours and will always be remembered.
In Lyle’s memory, Team Millig will be raising funds and awareness for Sands. Members of the team will be supporting Jackie every step of the way by taking part in challenges such as the Kiltwalk and climbing Ben Nevis.
If you are able to donate or share, it would be so appreciated. Every contribution helps Sands continue their vital work supporting families through loss. 💙
