JUST A WEE REMINDER
On Tuesday 24th March the practice will be migrating from our current system to a new hosted clinical system. During this time our IT team will be moving the network and carrying out essential checks.
Our computer systems will be unavailable on Tuesday morning, so we will not have any appointment availability during this time as it would not be safe to see patients without access to our clinical systems.
We aim to have systems back up and running by Tuesday afternoon, when there will be limited appointments available for, non-routine issues only.

Heidi AI in Consultations

Our practice is now using Heidi AI, a secure medical documentation assistant, to help our clinicians record consultation notes.

Heidi listens to the consultation and creates a draft clinical note for the clinician. This allows them to spend more time focusing on you and less time typing, helping consultations feel more natural and efficient.

The clinician always reviews and approves the notes, and your information is handled in line with NHS data protection standards.

If you would prefer Heidi not to assist during your consultation, please let your clinician know at the start of the appointment.

We are excited to use this technology to help us spend more time listening to patients and delivering high-quality care.

Today we say a fond but sad farewell to Dr Jack Osbourne. Jack has been with us as a trainee GP over the last three years and now bids us farewell to continue his career as a GP within the Royal Navy. Jack, it has been an absolute pleasure working with you and seeing your development along the way. We will all miss you and we wish you fair winds and following seas. ⚓️⚓️⚓️

PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT SAMPLES UNLESS A CLINICIAN HAS PREVIOUSLY REQUESTED THEM.

If you think you have a urine infection and have already tried your local pharmacy, please ask for an appointment or call back to discuss your symptoms before handing in a sample as we will be unable to accept it.
