Unfortunately our phone lines have not been working correctly since the switchover at lunchtime. Calls have now started coming through so please bear with us as the phone company is still working on the line. Thank you for your patience.

Don’t let gravy be the Grinch this Christmas!

We are reminding everyone to take extra care this festive season. Burns from hot gravy, cuts from box cutters, falls from ladders, and upset stomachs are among the reasons people end up in A&E on Christmas Day.

A&E is for urgent injuries and life‑threatening emergencies.

For minor injuries or illnesses, try treating at home or call NHS 24 on 111 for advice.

Parents and carers:
• Make sure bikes and scooters come with helmets.
• Check toys for small parts and button batteries.
• Keep hair straighteners and cleaning products out of reach.
• Watch out for water beads – they can be dangerous if swallowed.

Enjoy the celebrations, stay safe, and keep little ones protected. No one wants to spend Christmas in a waiting room!
