We had a lovely visit from Hermitage Primary today 🐝💛
Our theme was all about bees, and everyone got stuck into some arts and crafts making handprint bees together 🖐️🐝

There were so many smiles, laughs, and lovely conversations shared between our residents and the children. Days like this are so special—bringing generations together helps boost mood, reduce loneliness, and creates a real sense of community. It’s also a wonderful way for our residents to share stories and for the children to learn, connect, and build confidence 💛

We’ve officially kicked off our gardening 🌱🌼

We had the most amazing time today with the Jamacs band! 🎶 They brought such great energy, and our residents absolutely loved every minute—especially the incredible guitar solos! There was lots of singing, smiling, and even a bit of dancing. Music really does bring everyone together and lift spirits 💛

We had the best time at lambing at Montey’s Farm today 🐑💕 Lots of cuddles with the sweetest lambs, learning all about them, and so many laughs along the way – such a special day!

We had so much fun today with a game of balloon tennis! 🎈🎾 Lots of laughter, smiles, and a bit of friendly competition all around.

Activities like this are not only enjoyable but also incredibly beneficial – helping to improve coordination, encourage gentle movement, boost mood, and bring everyone together socially. A simple balloon can create such joy! 💛

We had a lovely visit from Bethesda Church yesterday ✨

Our residents really enjoyed coming together to sing and share in the story of Jesus. It was such a warm, uplifting time filled with smiles, music, and meaningful conversation.

Moments like this are so important — they bring comfort, encourage connection, and can be incredibly beneficial for emotional wellbeing, offering a sense of peace, purpose, and belonging

A lovely chilled morning with our residents today ☀️

We set up each table with different activities so everyone could choose what they felt like doing — from colouring and puzzles to board games. It was so nice to see everyone enjoying the variety and spending time doing what they love 🧩🎨

Moments like these really highlight the importance of choice, creativity, and connection 💛

We had a very special visitor today—Angus, a 7-month-old St. Bernard puppy 🐶❤️

He came in to spend time with the residents and was an instant hit! There were plenty of cuddles, lots of kisses, and yes… a fair bit of slobber too 😂

Visits like this can make such a difference—bringing comfort, lifting moods, encouraging social interaction, and creating such lovely moments for everyone involved. Safe to say Angus made a lot of people’s day today 💛

Happy Birthday to the wonderful Margaret who celebrated turning 90 yesterday surrounded by her family and friends 🎈❤️ She thoroughly enjoyed her day with lots of cake, chocolate and presents!
