Happy New Year to all you beautiful people! It’s been a while so I thought I’d provide an update.
After a catalogue of errors by the bank, we are finally on the verge of obtaining a bank account and can apply for a start up grant 🙏
We have been keeping busy though - networking, obtaining quotes and watchful waiting observing sun patterns etc.
On a personal note, as well as being a Holistic Therapist and having a degree in Psychology, I have retrained as a nature therapist and attended a social enterprise course. Plus due to my new found love of Kirtans, I’m learning Sanskrit and have taken up the guitar!
The amazing Victoria is a book keeper and is a few months away from completing her degree in Business Management with Hospitality and Marketing. Future plans include a life coaching course, for which she is perfect due to her natural talent for motivating people.
The wonderful Sara had a degree in Social Work and is studying Astrology. She is currently in Thailand finding herself (and hopefully some authentic Mahala beads for me🤣). Looking forward to seeing her beautiful face again in spring.
Our volunteers have been busy too, Rob our mindfulness/meditation expert is studying lucid dreaming and Joyce our forager/weaver has taken an inventory of flora and fauna on the land, and is planning on cultivating dye plants.
Finally, I’ve just had a great meeting with the land owner and have some exciting news, watch this space!
