We are set in the stunning grounds of The Old Vicarage, built in 1875. With approximately 1.5 acres of historic Cornish gardens, up-kept in an immaculate fashion. The Lodge is a facility where you can focus on you, without the hustle and bustle of other commercial set ups. The Lodge has been thought out by therapists and fitness professionals, meaning you get all of what you need and none of what you don’t. Our therapists can offer Sports Massage and acupuncture to help you move more and in less pain. Our specialist instructors and therapists can work with even the most complex of conditions, joint replacements to heart transplant patients, lower back pain to sciatica. Our health professionals can guide you through the complex nature of nutrition making it easy and in a language you can understand. They also work with other fitness requirements such as preparation for fitness testing and weight management. With specialist qualifications in nutrition and diabetes you can rest assured that you are in safe hands from the moment you walk in. The Lodge will also offer small group training through TRX, Pilates, Stick mobility and strength and conditioning. At the Lodge, we understand that everyone wants to train for different reasons. We also understand that we need to approach everyone in an individual manner. Our focus is you and your goals.

How Our Over 50s Circuit Class Works….

Looking after yourself doesn’t have to mean pushing to the brink of self-destruction. Our sessions are about smart movement, not sweat-soaked regret.

👣 What to expect:
🕒 60–70 minutes of fun, supportive exercise (we take time to explain new movements – no pressure, no confusion).

🔄 Circuit-style format with 2 minutes per station and 3 effort levels at each – so whether you’re feeling strong or slightly creaky, there’s always an option that works for YOU.
💧 Hydration station always on hand.
💬 “Fun nagging” included – because a little encouragement goes a long way!

We use the Borg Scale to guide effort levels – think of it as listening to your body, not ignoring it.

No floor work here – all movements are done standing or seated, so there’s no up-down drama!

Led by highly qualified, friendly instructors who adapt and adjust as needed. We’re here to help, not to bark orders.

Whether you’re managing arthritis, diabetes, lower back pain etc, recovering from injury, or just want to move better and feel better – this class is for you.

As the sun sets and the dust settles, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on the past few weeks of calculated chaos — the kind that leads to real progress.

We’ve finally built the outdoor gym space we dreamed of when we first opened. It took longer than planned (classic us), but we got there. And we’re so proud of how it’s turned out.

Since launching in 2022, we’ve gone from a mixed-use setup to a space with two dedicated PT areas, a therapy/massage room, and actual changing facilities!

There’s that quote (not exact): “Any fool can complicate things. It takes courage to simplify.” That’s exactly what we’ve done — stripped things back to what matters: helping people move better, feel stronger, and reduce pain. No fluff, just impact.

In the last few weeks alone, we’ve launched Over 50s and Stick Mobility sessions and nearly filled our PT books. Big shifts, even if they’re easy to miss when you’re in it.

As outdoor projects wind down (digging ban’s back – iykyk), we’re full of gratitude.

To every PT client, therapy patient, and class participant — thank you. Your trust means everything. As a small business, we appreciate every single booking.

And to those who helped make it all happen: Paul (project manager, sail maker, grave digger), and Debbie (garden whisperer). The raised beds? All her. Please stop asking Luke — he hasn’t got a clue 🤣

From July 3rd 2025, we’re moving our booking system from TM3 to TeamUp – a smoother, more user-friendly platform that puts you in control. We expect this to be complete by July 11th or before.

Why the switch?
Because we're committed to giving you the best possible service — from how you book and manage your sessions to how we support you.
