The Lodge is a private multi-disciplinary facility offering 1-2-1 and small group fitness along with sports massage therapy and acupuncture. We are set in the stunning grounds of The Old Vicarage, built in 1875. With approximately 1.5 acres of historic Cornish gardens, up-kept in an immaculate fashion. Designed to be able to offer everything you need to help you move more and work on your own personal health and fitness goals. Specialists in:

The Lodge is a facility where you can focus on you, without the hustle and bustle of other commercial set ups. The Lodge has been thought out by therapists and fitness professionals, meaning you get all of what you need and none of what you don’t. Our therapists can offer Sports Massage and acupuncture to help you move more and in less pain. Our specialist instructors and therapists can work with even the most complex of conditions, joint replacements to heart transplant patients, lower back pain to sciatica. Our health professionals can guide you through the complex nature of nutrition making it easy and in a language you can understand. They also work with other fitness requirements such as preparation for fitness testing and weight management. With specialist qualifications in nutrition and diabetes you can rest assured that you are in safe hands from the moment you walk in. The Lodge will also offer small group training through TRX, Pilates, Stick mobility and strength and conditioning. At the Lodge, we understand that everyone wants to train for different reasons. In our Over 50’s Circuit, you might notice we use these colourful, flashing lights called Blaze Pods – and no, they’re not just for fun (though they definitely add that too 🎉).

Blaze Pods are fantastic for proprioception training – that’s your body’s ability to know where it is in space and react quickly. This is especially important as we age because:

Booking into our classes is simple and flexible:

1️⃣ Choose a class directly from the timetable – book into a single session whenever it suits you.

2️⃣ Purchase a Class Pass – this gives you a bundle of sessions to use as you wish. You can then book into classes ad hoc, giving you flexibility if you can’t make every week.

👉 The only exception is if you’re new to our Over 50’s class. In that case, you’ll need to start with the 6-Week Introduction Package before moving on to class passes. This ensures you learn the foundations safely and with confidence.

At The Lodge – Health & Wellbeing, we specialise in helping people with medical conditions, injuries, or pain move with confidence. Our Over 50’s class is designed to support everyday life, so you can keep doing the things you love.

How it works:
If you’re new to the class, you’ll start with our 6-week Introduction Package. This gives you the time and support to learn the exercises, build confidence, and progress safely.
After your introduction, you can continue by purchasing flexible class passes, so you can book in when it suits you.
Numbers are strictly limited, so you’ll always get close attention, correct form, and modifications to suit your needs.

💪 Whether you want to feel stronger, reduce pain, or just future-proof your health, this class will help you get there – with expert guidance every step of the way.

This Month we turn 3!

Can you believe that our build started at the end of July 2022 and we welcomed our first client in September, it took us approximately 6 weeks to complete the build and it took well over 30 tons of concrete and aggregate.

Not to mention the flooring, equipment and levelling the pond surround. It's hard to think in that short time we went from a vision to creating the lodge, we've managed to keep things going so well, we even had to add the outdoor gym, separate treatment room and classes.

It's crazy to think how far we have come in that time, but we are grateful for everyone that's been in and those that continue to choose us. So, here's to 3 fantastic years, and looking forward to the next 3 years and beyond.
