The Lodge has been thought out by therapists and fitness professionals, meaning you get all of what you need and none of what you don’t. Our therapists can offer Sports Massage and acupuncture to help you move more and in less pain. Our specialist instructors and therapists can work with even the most complex of conditions, joint replacements to heart transplant patients, lower back pain to sciatica. Our health professionals can guide you through the complex nature of nutrition making it easy and in a language you can understand. They also work with other fitness requirements such as preparation for fitness testing and weight management. With specialist qualifications in nutrition and diabetes you can rest assured that you are in safe hands from the moment you walk in. The Lodge will also offer small group training through TRX, Pilates, Stick mobility and strength and conditioning. At the Lodge, we understand that everyone wants to train for different reasons. We also understand that we need to approach everyone in an individual manner. Our focus is you and your goals.

Over the past few months, life has been incredibly challenging.
Losing Mum, and then Dad so soon after, has been something I’m still processing.

It’s been a time of grief, reflection, and trying to find some normality again.

I just wanted to take a moment to say a genuine thank you to all of my clients.
For your patience with last-minute changes, rescheduled sessions, cancellations, and times where my availability has been limited — I don’t take any of that for granted.

Your understanding and support have meant more than you probably realise.
It’s incredibly sad that they’re both gone, especially so close together… but there’s comfort in knowing they’re now at peace and reunited once more.
Gone, but never forgotten.

I owe so much of who I am — both personally and in my work — to their support, guidance, and the values they instilled in me.

As I start to move forward, I’ll be returning to more normality, with regular availability resuming over the coming weeks.

I’ll also be continuing my education and development, so I can provide an even better service, support more people, and keep improving what I offer.

Pilates for Pain – 8 Week Specialist Course
In a world where most fitness programmes focus on losing weight or looking better, this course focuses on something far more important…
Moving better.
Feeling stronger.
Living with less pain.

If you often experience things like:
• stiffness when you get up in the morning
• back, hip or knee pain that comes and goes
• feeling less confident with movement than you used to
• avoiding certain activities because they aggravate pain
…then this course has been designed specifically for you.
Starting Thursday 9th April, I’m running an 8 week Pilates for Pain programme at Trevassack Lake.

This is not a typical Pilates class.
It’s a small group, structured programme designed to help you:
✔ Improve mobility and flexibility
✔ Build strength around vulnerable joints
✔ Reduce persistent aches and niggles
✔ Move with more confidence and independence
The sessions are suitable for people with ongoing injuries or medical conditions.
I am GP Referral qualified and Level 4 trained in Lower Back Pain, Obesity and Diabetes, so exercises can be adapted safely for each participant.

To keep the programme personalised and safe, there are only 10 spaces available.
There are three programme options available depending on the level of support you would like during the course.

Most people choose the Supported Programme, which includes access to the coaching app, home mobility routines and guidance between sessions to help accelerate progress.

Most people start exercise because they want to lose weight or look better.

But what if the real goal was something much more important?

What if the goal was simply to:

• Get out of bed without stiffness
• Walk upstairs without your knees complaining
• Bend down, twist, reach and move without pain or hesitation
• Stay independent and capable as the years go on

For many people, the biggest barrier to exercise isn’t motivation.

It’s pain, stiffness, or those persistent little niggles that never seem to go away.

That’s exactly why I’m putting together a small group course called Pilates for Pain.

It’s designed to help you:

✔ reduce aches and stiffness
✔ build strength and mobility safely

All set in the incredible surroundings of Trevassack Lake.

This isn’t about pushing through pain or chasing fitness trends.

Something new is coming…

Over the last few months I’ve had more and more people asking for help with things like:
• Persistent back pain
• Stiff hips and tight shoulders
• Feeling weaker or less mobile than they used to
• Wanting to exercise safely without making pain worse

So I’ve been working on something a little different.

I’m currently planning a small group “Pilates for Pain” course at the beautiful Trevassack Lake.
The idea is simple:
✔ Learn how to move better
✔ Reduce pain and stiffness
✔ Build strength and confidence again

It will be a structured course (not a drop-in class) with a small group so everyone gets the attention they need.

The setting at Trevassack Lake is incredible and I think it’s the perfect environment.
I’m just finalising the days and times with the venue.

There will only be around 8–10 spaces available when it launches.

It’s been a little quiet on here lately… and I wanted to explain why.
In November last year, my mum sadly passed away.

It was a huge shock for all of us.
Since then, I’ve been spending a lot more time supporting my dad and helping him at home as his mobility and health have changed.

It’s been a big adjustment, and for a while I stepped back from taking on new clients—both online and face to face—so I could focus on family and what mattered most. Now I will be focusing online, to allow more time to support those that need me.

Over the past few months, though, something has become even clearer to me.
As we get older, strength, mobility, and resilience aren’t optional.
They’re what allow us to stay independent, confident, and able to live life on our own terms.

That’s exactly why I do what I do.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing more:
Simple strength tips
Mobility advice
Pain-resilient training ideas
And some new online coaching options
All designed for people over 40 who want to:
Move better
Feel stronger
Live with less pain
