We always knew we had an amazing team, but today we are truly taken aback and humbled by our incredible Community Carers. πŸ’™πŸ‘
With power outages affecting so many, our staff have stepped up in the most selfless ways. ⚑πŸ’ͺ We have carers cooking hot meals 🍲 in their own homes for those who’ve lost power, team members collecting and delivering water πŸ’§πŸš— to people in need, and our office continuing to operate from the homes of staff who still have power πŸ πŸ’».
Behind the scenes, our dedicated on-call team responded to more than 106 calls this morning alone, providing reassurance, support, and solutions during a very challenging day. πŸ“žπŸ‘ πŸ’™
Our building may be without power, but our care never stops. ❀️

Our sponsored Christmas tree is looking absolutely beautiful in town by the Bowls Green – make sure you take a look if you’re passing by ✨
We also had a very lovely staff meal on Saturday evening. A huge thank you to Henlys Wine Bar Cafe Bistro for hosting such a fantastic night – the food, atmosphere, and wonderful staff made it a great evening for everyone. And of course, it wouldn’t have been complete without a surprise visit from the gorgeous Betty Swallocks πŸ’ƒπŸ˜‚

🌟 Izzy 🌟
Where would we be without our Romanian ball of chaos πŸ˜‚ If you know Izzy, you already know she’s got a very colourful vocabulary 🎨, a heart full of gold πŸ’›, and a sense of humour that keeps everyone smiling - even on the toughest days.
Izzy has been in care for 6 years, and she brings experience, passion, and pure personality to everything she does. She’s the kind of person who jumps straight in, keeps everyone laughing, and somehow makes even the busiest days feel brighter. Her care is genuine, full of warmth, and always delivered with that unmistakable Izzy energy!
At home, Izzy’s life is just as lively - she’s raising two energetic boys and sharing her home with quite the animal crew 🐾🦎🐦🐠! She’s got four birds (a disabled Kakariki parakeet, an Indian ringneck, a Jenday conure, and an African grey), one bearded dragon, one dog, and two fish tanks. Oh - and she did mention she has three pigs… but we’ve since learned she might have been talking about her husband and kids 🀣🐷

We had Elphaba casting spells, Wednesday giving her iconic stare, Shrek keeping things swampy, Chuckie sending chills down the street, a very unique shark making waves, Luna Lovegood and a werewolf spreading magic and mayhem, Coraline exploring otherworldly adventures, the Chestburster making its memorable entrance, and of course Darth Maul and Woody bringing the galaxy and the Wild West to the neighborhood! πŸ§™β€β™€οΈπŸΊπŸ¦ˆπŸ‘Ύβš”οΈπŸ€ 
The kids had a blast, and we loved seeing all their creativity shine. Halloween with our minis is always a treat! πŸ•ΈοΈπŸ¬πŸŽƒ

If there’s one thing we want Jody to know, it’s this: you are more than enough - and we see the incredible work you do every single day πŸ’œ
Jody has been working in care for 7 years now, and she brings so much heart, gentleness, and dedication to the people she supports. She’s currently working towards her NVQ Level 3 (smashing it, by the way!) and is an important part of our on-call team, always reliable, always giving 100%.
Jody is the kind of person who constantly worries she hasn’t done enough when in truth, she’s already gone far above and beyond. Her care is thoughtful, thorough, and so full of genuine compassion. If you’ve ever worked with her, you’ll know how deeply she cares and how much of a difference she makes, even if she doesn’t always see it herself.
Whether it’s comforting a service user, supporting a teammate, or just being her lovely self. Jody brings calm, positivity, and comfort wherever she goes πŸ’«
When she’s not working hard, Jody loves baking and cooking 🍰🍳 to relax and unwind and spending precious time with her little boy πŸ’•
And if you spot her out and about, don’t be too sure you’ll recognise her straight away... her hair colour changes more often than the Cornish weather! πŸŒˆπŸ’‡β€β™€οΈ (But she somehow makes every shade look amazing.)
