Typically, I help women who do not enjoy a gym environment or who cannot exercise due to pain or posture problems and need help focussing on postural change, muscular-skeletal strengthening, and/or just improving muscle to fat ratio and toning alongside helping improve symptoms associated with stage of life. I aslo help people who suffer tension or injury in their sport or every-day lives with the help of massage (on Powerplate or off). Nutritional information on how to simply feed the body to function and feel optimal energy and mental alertness is core to my approach to working with clients. As a Holistic Health & Life Coach I can help you determine your first steps to transforming from where you are now in life (whatever the issues) to where you wish to be.

🛹 This week’s challenge is to switch it up and do something you haven’t done in a while (or haven’t done before!). Ready to take it to the next level?!

🧗🏾 How about signing up for a seminar, workshop, or new class?! Maybe it’s rock climbing class, mosaic workshop, gardening or photography class, a new dance session…. you name it!

WED 14/1/26 WEEKLY RECIPE: 🍠 BLACK BEAN SWEET POTATO CHILI 🌶️
(makes 4 servings)

😋This hearty plant-based meal is a cross between chili and soup, and it’s 100% delicious.

It’s also the perfect make-ahead meal because it keeps in the freezer for up to 3 months!

Just let it cool down and pour into a zippered freezer bag for easy storage. Take it out of the freezer and put it in the fridge to thaw a day before you plan to eat it.

Ingredients:
● 3 tbsp olive oil
● 1 large sweet potato, peeled and diced
● 1 large onion, diced
● 2 tbsp chili powder
● 4 tsp ground cumin
● ¼ tsp salt
● 3 cloves garlic, minced
● 2½ cups (625 ml) low-sodium vegetable stock
● 2 15-ounce (440 g) cans black beans, rinsed
● 1 14-ounce (410 g) can diced fire-roasted tomatoes
● 4 tsp lime juice
● ½ cup (20 g) chopped coriander (cilantro) (optional)

Method:
In a large pot, heat the oil and then add the sweet potato and onion. Cook for about 5 minutes, until the onion starts to soften. Add the chili powder, cumin, salt, and garlic, stirring to incorporate the spices.

Add vegetable stock and bring to a simmer. Cover and reduce heat, and cook for about 10 minutes, until the sweet potato is cooked through.

Remove cover, turn up the heat and stir in beans, tomatoes, and lime juice. Cook until the liquid starts to reduce – 5 to 10 minutes. Remove the heat and stir in optional cilantro leaves. A-MAZING!

MON 12/1/26 WEEKLY WELLNESS CHALLENGE: 📢 JUST FOR FUN📢

I hope you’re all easing into 2026 gently, listening to what your female Peri-2-Post Menopause body needs right now and not feeling pressure to be a New You, Better You or Skinny.

So, this week is all about doing something FUN! Your challenge is to pick a fun activity you either:

1. Have never done or
2. Haven’t done in a while

… and just do it!

🎳 This could be going bowling, Nordic walking, playing badminton, Frisbee or mini golf…

🎾 Rollerblading, volleyball, yoga, sledding, pilates, tennis, swimming; or basically doing any activity that has you joyfully MOVING and not sitting on the sidelines! (unless you’re ill, of course).

Doing something ‘novel’ – something new or different – is a great way to add some freshness to your routine.

It can give you a new perspective on not just your fitness and wellness routine, but also on your life.

Sometimes we can get so serious about fitness and wellness that we forget WHY we are doing it – to enjoy a fuller, richer, more vital life!
