What a Wednesday at Highfield Slimming World! 💛

This week, each group voted for their icons, the member who lifts them up, supports them through tough weeks, and is always there when it matters most. 🫶

And then… the ICONS speaches! 🍑
🤗Different words, same beautiful message: we’ve got each other’s backs.

I feel so proud of our groups for making the effort every week to be there for one another. This isn’t just a weight loss group. It’s a community. A place to reset your mindset, build better habits, and face life’s challenges together. Every Wednesday, we grow, we laugh, and we push forward.

💪Feeling better at 60 – and still enjoying the journey!💪

When Wendy Eileen Osborn joined our 7pm group, she had just turned 60 and was just not feeling her best. Her sister-in-law was doing so well with Slimming World that she thought, “why not give it a go?”

She didn’t know anyone when she first walked through the doors but now she’s not only made some lovely new friends, she’s actually brought two groups of friends together through group! 💕

Since joining, Wendy’s lost an incredible 2 stone, and even though this last bit is proving tricky, she’s the first to say that if she didn’t come every week, she’d have put it all back on by now. That support really does make all the difference.

She’s just back from an all-inclusive holiday in Cape Verde (where there’s so much food 🍹🍰) and came home with only a 1lb gain🎉 how amazing is that?! Proof that you really can enjoy yourself and stay in control at the same time. 🌴👏

Stories like Wendy’s are exactly what Slimming World is all about — feeling good, finding your people, and proving to yourself that you can do it.

,🗣️“I wouldn’t have run 5K… and I wouldn’t have done it without Highfield Slimming World.” 🔊

Nearly a year ago, Laura Molloy walked into our Highfield Slimming World group feeling stuck, tired, and ready for change. Not just for herself, but for her children. 🤝With a little nudge from Mary (who may or may not have dragged her in 🤣), she found something she didn’t expect:
💛strength,
💛support, and
💛a community that believed in her before she believed in herself.

Since then, Laura has lost nearly 5 stone 🎉
She’s completed Couch to 5K 🏃‍♀️
She jogged the entire Race for Life with us 💖
And she’s still going — because this isn’t a fad. It’s her new way of life.

Laura’s words say it best:
💜 “I’ve had so many WOW moments. I’ve realised I do have it in me to look and feel the way my body deserves. Even when I hit target, I’ll keep going because this is a lifestyle change. If I can take that step and change my life, so can anyone.”💜
