Shockwave Therapy ⚡️

〰️ What is it?
A non-evasive medical treatment that uses high energy sound waves to stimulate healing in injured tissues. The process stimulates blood flow, promotes formation of new blood vessels and helps breakdown scar tissue.

It was a very busy weekend, full of moving boxes and building furniture, amongst the chaos of my two tiny humans 🔧📦 but it all came together and I opened the doors today to my new clinic space.

I’ve been using the TRX® resistance straps in my clinic practice recently with a patient that I am helping with knee rehabilitation. I have modified certain movements/exercises to strengthen muscles around the knee joint.

TRX® resistance straps are perfect for assisted functional movements as they reduce the demand for balance and stability, making them suitable for those with mobility limitations.

I will identify and correct imbalances within the body’s structure that may predispose players to injury. Certain treatment techniques I use will improve posture, mobility and movement efficiency.
