These are the things I notice before anyone starts to talk about strength or exercises

How someone starts a movement, where they pause and what happens when they’re unsure, even if they’ve been doing rehab for a while or think they’re moving well.

This is how I approach physio and how I work with my “movement hacker” clients.

I’m looking for what repeats and what people do before they realise they’re doing it.

That’s the part that most people miss 🩷

I’m running a gentle Knee Rehab Class at PhysioFit-GB
open to anyone who wants a bit of support.

🕙 Every Thursday at 11am. Starts Thurs 5th Feb

Most people will double down on effort when things don’t feel reliable anymore. So, you might train harder, or do more rehab or just try and push through.

But protection doesn’t respond to force…. It responds to context.

So, if your body keeps pulling the brakes even though you might be doing “all the right things” it’s not being stubborn… it’s being careful!

That’s the difference most people never get shown.

I love to move my body! I need to move it…

Movement is one of the most basic things we do as humans.

Before we could speak, we moved. Reaching, crawling, rolling, reacting.
It’s how we made sense of the world.

These days, we put it into sets, reps and routines and we think it’s movement.

But human movement isn’t just training. It’s function.
It’s how we adapt, respond and stay connected to our environment.

Moving well isn’t about looking a certain way etc…
It’s about being able to adjust, to feel and to move with awareness.

Real movement is a bit messy and it changes day to day.
And that’s the point.
It’s not meant to be perfect. It’s meant to be human 🩷

I Love the Pilates Tower and hip circles are a great way to build mobility and strength through the hips.
