We are open and not affected by the industrial strike. Please attend appointments unless told otherwise. Over the weekend please bear in mind that emergency services may be busier than usual.

Industrial action begins tomorrow. Please plan ahead and know your nearest walk-in centre, minor injuries unit, or urgent treatment centre.

👉 We know no one plans to become unwell or need care, but if you do, it’s important to use the right service. For urgent but not life threatening issues, avoid A&E. Local services such as walk-in centres, minor injuries units or urgent treatment centres can help with cuts, sprains, burns, minor fractures and more: https://www.sussex.ics.nhs.uk/your-care/local-nhs-services/get-the-right-care/

💊Pharmacists can give expert advice on common illnesses like sore throats, coughs, colds, tummy troubles, and aches and pains.

If you have flu, there are some things you can do to help:
✅rest and sleep
✅keep warm
✅take paracetamol or ibuprofen to lower your temperature and treat aches and pains
✅drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration

🗓️Remember, please continue to attend your appointment unless we contact you directly.

Please understand the pressure industrial action puts on our hospitals and help our teams by choosing the right service for your care.
