Water and Hydration Day! Today, residents talked about the importance of hydration and noticing the signs of dehydration, why fluid intake affects so many different things within our health and wellbeing. We also had a look at our hydration station and residents were shown how easy it is to get their own drinks and where they were located. They had a go at pouring their own drinks and making sure their thirsts were quenched.

Welcome to Tangy Tuesday! We all learnt so much about the tongue and our taste bud receptors and which parts of our mouths taste which flavours! Then we tricked our tastebuds by covering our eyes to taste different tangy flavours and we discovered that it is really hard to distinguish between tastes with a sense removed! A lot of tasty tangy fun!
