We had the lovely Salvation Army Brass Band come and join us on Friday to play some Christmas carols to us, residents really enjoyed themselves!

We had a gorgeous church service this morning with Wendy the local vicar as well as some of the church choir, it was very uplifting service

We had the utter delight of a visit from The Animal Pantry today! We had three donkeys, a pony, four guinea pigs, two bunnies and a cockerel named Brian!

Residents faces lit up and they enjoyed their visit so much!

We can NOT WAIT to welcome Wendy and the church choir tomorrow for our Christmas church service, followed by an afternoon visit by The Animal Pantry!

More Christmas merriment today, residents went back in time to their youth and talked about making mince pies with their mothers, some had never made mince pies before and some stories told us that after the war had finished, many parents were not well off enough to afford luxuries such as mince pies! We all agreed we are very fortunate to have all that we do nowadays!

🎭✨ Last weekend, our residents were treated to a special puppet show "Christmas Nativity" brought to us by our local church.🎄💫 The children did an amazing job, and our residents loved every moment—singing, dancing, and soaking in the holiday cheer! 🎶🕺

A big thank you to the kids and Wendy for making it all happen! Your efforts truly brightened our weekend! ❤️

We kicked off the holiday season with a lovely movie day. Our residents enjoyed watching Elf, sharing laughs and festive cheer. It was a wonderful day to come together and enjoy some Christmas magic. 🎄✨
