✨ School dinners are getting a healthy makeover 🍽️
New UK school food guidance is shifting menus towards more healthy, balanced and nourishing foods and away from ultra-processed, sugary options that so many parents are concerned about.
The aim is to support children’s growth, focus, mood, and long-term health 💚
As a children’s nutritionist and mum, I think this is a positive step towards helping our children:
🥦 Build balanced eating habits
⚡ Maintain steady energy throughout the day
🧠 Support learning and concentration
There is a 9 week consultation period so these changes are not confirmed just yet.
