Peter Jackson Funeral Services are an independent family run funeral directors with an invaluable reputation for extremely high standards. We believe that every funeral should be unique and bespoke to the family we are working with.
Our long-established family business is currently seeking a funeral operative to join our existing team. As part of this role, you will be required to maintain the appearance of our vehicles to a high standard, driving our hearses and limousines as chauffeur and bearer at funeral services.
Additional roles would be available to a appropriate candidate of bringing deceased into our care from hospitals, nursing homes and private residence during office hours and be willing to take part in our on-call rota to cover out of office hours into care services as required.
Candidates should share our commitment to deliver a first-class caring service to families and clients, you will need to be well organised and client-focused with a professional approach. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided.
The successful candidate will be happy to work from our newly developed Henstridge site and also from our long standing Gillingham office as required.
Requirements
• Full UK driving licence (must be over 21 for insurance purposes)
• Smart appearance
• Physically able (manual handling required)
• Secondary education
• Out of hours rota participation
• Maintain confidentiality of all customer information
