Mike, 53 - lost over 16 kg and dropped his body fat from 25% to 13%.

With a stressful, busy life, he lost over 16 kg (35 lbs) of body weight while training only 3 times a week.

He was struggling with weight-cycling, from repeated pattern of losing weight through restrictive diets and then regaining it due to hunger and unsustainable habits.

He trusted the process of doing things differently this time.

How many pull ups you can do?

Today I tested how many pull ups I can do in one go.

I managed 13 pull ups after deadlifting.

I am not in pick condition, I have got a cold and adjusting to the new climate in Romania.

I love doing pull ups, I feel that this exercise is a real reality strength check.

There are people who can’t do one full pull up.

My goal for the next 3 months is to get 20 pull ups in one go.

With my current training split and careful periodisation I will get there in time.

If you are a man who struggle to do one pull, maybe you should start thinking about what you do in the gym.

Holidays are over?

Are you travelling back home and you are ready to restart training.

Start with something more realistic and effective to help your body get rid of inflammation and water excess.

Don’t start chasing PBs or picking up from where you left.

Start by giving to your body time and a good pump.

Do 2-4 sets per muscle group with 15-20 reps per set.

Move the weight fast but controlled.

Do it for at least 2 days before you start back on your usual training.

Train smart.

I learnt this exercise from Charles Poliquin books.

After trying it myself, and after a period of time, I can tell you that it is a beast.

What makes it so effective?

The fact that the exercise is allowing you to work through a full ROM.

You challenge the abs in a shortened position but also in a stretch through spine extension.

Plus, the Swiss ball is forcing the muscles to work and stabilise.

The other thing is you don't need heavy weights to really make it challenging.

I really like this exercise for my upper part of my abs.

Save, like and try it yourself!

You will feel every inch of your abs.

Upper Body Session 2

Currently I am holding my body weight around 70kg while getting through the festive season with ease.

I don’t bother to get too lean now as I want to have balance and enjoy the Xmas period without stressing too much.

I am also moving back to Romania after Xmas so I want to keep things flexible for the time being until I settle back home.

Currently I am training 4-5 times a week in an upper and lower body split plus an extra arm session.

I am also playing around with different types of training and movements to integrate into my routine.

Overall, I am feeling great at this point, I know it could be better but and it will, but now I am satisfied with it.

Every client I work with starts with an initial assessment. This gives us a clear starting point and helps track real progress over time.

For James, this included:
• Overhead squat
• Push-ups (max reps)
• FBI sit-up test (max reps in 1 minute)

When James started 5.5 months ago, he had limited mobility, low strength, and poor cardiovascular endurance.

Fast forward to today 👇
✅ Squats with good form and control
✅ 20 push-ups in one set
✅ 30+ sit-ups in under a minute
✅ 20kg+ weight loss

The goal was weight loss — but the biggest win was improving strength, movement, and overall fitness.

Am creat aceasta pagina din dorinta de a impartasi experienta si cunostintele legate de nutritie, fitness si un mod de viata sanatos, cu oricine isi doreste o schimbare in bine. Sincer cred ca pot motiva si ajuta cat mai multi oameni sa faca acest pas spre o viata echilibrata. Scopul meu este de a te ajuta sa-ti imbunatatesti viata de zi cu zi prin implemetarea unor obiceiuri sanatoase, ce tin de miscare, alimentatie si organizare. Daca iti doresti cu adevarat o schimbare, aceasta poate fi posibila prin munca, implicare si determinare. Eu voi fi alaturi de tine daca alegi acest drum.
