Blood Test Results
The laboratory at the County Hospital has installed a new analyser machine and there have been some initial teething problems. Some results of tests sent between 2nd and 10th February are delayed. We are assured they will all come through in due course. The hospital has apologised for this delay but assures us all results will reach us soon.

Last Thursday, we said farewell to our four medical students from the new Three Counties Medical School. They are from the first cohort to have started at TCMS and have been at Ryeland Surgery for a very substantial placement, under the supervision of Dr Judith Johnson.

We wish them well for the rest of their training and their future medical careers.

We say a sad farewell to Sally Hargreaves, our senior dispenser at our branch surgery in Bodenham. Sally has been with us nearly 16 years, during which she has given exceptional service to so many patients and their families. She will be sorely missed by patients and staff alike. We wish her a long and happy retirement.

This January brings some changes the Childhood Vaccine Programme! 💉

👶🏻Babies born on or after 1st July 2024 will now be called in for their 18 Month Old vaccinations
👶🏻The MMR Vaccination will be phased out, being replaced by the MMRV Vaccination. This stands for Measels, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella (Chickenpox)
