Have you been offered an appointment with one of our trainee/student doctors here at the surgery and are feeling a little bit dubious about it? 🤔

We're here to tell you everything you need to know and quash any concerns you may have! 🙌🏼

🟢We are actively involved in training young doctors and have been for decades. It is a key component of our mission statement: "Our aim is to deliver first class patient care from a motivated and supportive team and to be an inspirational training and research hub."

🟢Doctors come to us at various stages in their training. All have already qualified as doctors from their medical schools.

🟢The shortest time anyone can become a GP is 10 years - 5 at medical school and 5 in doctor training posts.

🟢We also host medical students from Keele University and Three Counties Medical School, as well as nursing students from Worcester University.

🟢Medical students are supervised and supported by our qualified, experienced GPs at all times.

You can read more about our Doctors in Training in our Autumn Newsletter which is available to read now: 👇🏼
