Each local authority must set up a Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB). The main objective of a SAB is to assure itself that local safeguarding arrangements and partners act to help and protect adults in its area who meet the criteria for safeguarding.

Saturday was national recycling day and at Rose Garden, we have been looking at ways to ensure we are continuing to playing our part.

Why recycle?

Recycling prevents tonnes of waste being buried in landfill.

In the UK, recycling saves about 10-15 million carbon emissions a year, which is the equivalent of taking 3.5 million cars off the road.

Recycled material is a valuable resource, it can be repurposed and re used.

Recycling cans saves up to 95% of the energy needed to make new cans from raw material.

Lets all do our bit! We all have a part play is protecting our beautiful planet!

🧸 Rose Garden Supports The Teddy Trust! 💛

Rose Garden has been a collection point for The Teddy Trust for some time now, and thanks to the generosity of our community, many teddy bears have been donated to this amazing cause.

The Teddy Trust collects teddy bears and distributes them to children experiencing the traumas of war, starvation, or abuse.

We are delighted to share some photos from the charity showing children in South Africa, Mongolia, and Northern Iraq receiving their teddies.

How wonderful is this? The joy a teddy bear can bring is truly priceless! 😍

This marks the end of daylight saving time — mornings will be lighter, but evenings will start getting darker earlier 🌅🌙
