💙 Parkinson’s Awareness Day 💙
Today we recognise Parkinson’s Awareness Day, a time to support everyone living with Parkinson’s and to raise understanding of this long‑term neurological condition.
Parkinson’s affects movement, but it can also impact sleep, mood, memory, and everyday activities. Symptoms vary from person to person, but early awareness can make a real difference.
🧠 Common symptoms may include:
Tremor (shaking)
Slowness of movement
Muscle stiffness
Balance or coordination difficulties
Changes in handwriting or facial expression
