✨ Future Planning in an Inspiring Place ✨
Today we held our five‑year future planning session with our Heads of Department, a chance to look ahead, reflect, and map out how we continue to grow and strengthen our incredible hospital.
We were truly privileged to host our meeting in the beautiful Little Princess Trust meeting room. The Little Princess Trust is an extraordinary charity whose work touches thousands of lives. They provide real hair wigs to children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer, working with dedicated hairdressers across the UK to make their service accessible to anyone who needs it.
Beyond their wig provision, they have become one of the UK’s largest charity funders of childhood cancer research, supporting over 158 research projects focused on finding kinder, less toxic treatments for young people. Their impact is life‑changing and they rely solely on public donations and fundraising to continue this vital work.
We are incredibly grateful to them for welcoming us today, sharing an insight into their world, and allowing us to see firsthand the exceptional wigs they create. It was a reminder of the compassion, skill, and hope that sits at the heart of everything they do.
